Watching him run out of bounds in the end zone before catching a two point conversion catch thus negating the play..... Bone head for sure, yet he made a number of fine catches afterwards.

Although as some have pointed out, it should have been a legal catch. He didn't just step out, he was forced out and he re-established in bounds

To my eyes he still couldn’t separate for 90% of the game. However, in defense of Coleman we weren’t really looking down the field most of the game, so that seemed to be partially strategy and game plan.

Thought he had a great game. Was dialed in all game.  Made a great adjustment and kept his eye on the ball for the tipped TD.  Overall looked great!

I just am not a fan of the contested catch being his go to. Not a high probability play. Although, he is good at it…just don’t want to depend on it.

Keon looks noticeably stronger this year.  He isn’t a burner, but 1,000 yards may be the goal for him.

1,000 yards, 7-8 tds is my “ok Keon is at that level” line this season

To my eyes, he is separating far better than he was last season. And 8/11 for 112 yds, and a TD are legit WR#1 numbers. But it's going to take more than one game to sway the doubters, and several more to sway the haters.

His job is NOT to be in that position of being forced out. That is on him. I agree overall that he had a very good game overall, but that was blunder through and through.

I thought he was crap for three quarters. He had 17 yards by the end of the 3rd. But once the Ravens backed their corners off and gave him a bit of room to operate he was excellent. Had an amazing 4th quarter and made the plays the team needed him to make.

I still worry about his separation when teams want to get up in face and play him tight. But he did look more decisive and confident that last year. That is a plus. Even if he can force teams to play tight man coverage on him that is a start because it starts to dictate things a bit to the defense and might help elsewhere.

Really good input GunnerBill.

Same.

I have no idea what this thread is about. He was pure garbage for most of the game.

I’ve never been a hater of Keon but I liked a few WR ahead of him when we drafted him. That being said I really hope this was his coming out party because he really used that height to his advantage. This is also a make or break year imo for Kincaid who also looked really good this game as well. If we can get these 2 going along with Shakir and Cook this will be an unbelievable season offensively but that defense omg don’t get me started.

No!  He should have went down!  Glad he was tackled or he would have given a minute plus for Lamar to score.

I was kidding. Going down was the best case scenario

Coleman is on track for how I guessed he would turn out.

Excerpt from my post from April 26, 2024

"Usually aren't we waiting for at least a year for them to work on their route running and all the rest of the complex stuff that have to learn?

So my thinking was / is even if we traded the farm for a round-one wideout, they wouldn't have much impact next year.

As for Coleman I'm not willing to second guess Bean because watching his highlights, it seemed to me, that he is abnormally nimble for a man his size. Even among professional athletes I mean. I'd have to see him in person to be sure. But when I've seen that in person it's never been wrong that the guy will be a good one (unless injury gets him)."

Watch how nimble his feet are on the tipped pass touchdown.
He's 6-4!

Josh Allen is the same way.
I love watching his footwork. He moves like a much smaller man. 🙂
