its really a bad look.  They talked him up at length all offseason.  He has great size and ability and he is sitting and watching solomon.   Maybe its a special teams thing but man, two guys suspended, three guys hurt and now a third round pick not being active is just a bad start.  It's not like jackson was expected to start but its is really disappointing.

 

this defense taking the field tonight might be worse than the one that finished the year.

If Samuel was active tonight isn’t his salary for the season guaranteed or something like that? That could be a factor.

Yes actually it would. Not sure how you see a 3rd round pick sitting as not disappointing especially given the PED DE cheat is still out. I guess its also disappointing knowing Beane's poor track record on DL draft picks.
