So..if they win this week then lose to Miami and miss the playoffs under the OPs scenario, then that would be a very apropos/Billsy outcome. That was true and they got the help needed in the form of losses by Bengals, Colts, and Broncos. That is why now Bills win final two they are no lower than 6 seed. The probability is that the Seahawks, who are hanging on to the 7th NFC seed rather tenuously, will beat a Steeler team that has had problems winning on the road all year long.
