What to do with 10 boxes of liquor?

A friend of ours is moving out of her place and gave to us 10 boxes of liquors and maybe some wines (have not opened all boxes)

 

I opened two cases and I found

Jaquin's rum x2,

Myers's rum "Original Dark:, 

Ron Bacardi 151 Puerto Dark Rum,

Seagrams Seven Crown Whiskey x3,

Old-Grand whiskey,

Crown Royal blended Canadian whiskey,

Hiram Walker cherry flavored brandy, 

Hiram Walker orange curacao x2,  

Hiram Walker creme de cassis  "black currant" liqueur (old style bottle) x 2,

chartreuse liqueur par les pères chartreux x2,  

Aristocrat Supreme Dry Gin (Kentucky),

Mr. Boston Sho-Gin cocktail "Sloeberry liquor,

Dr. Kuyper Peppermint Schnapps,

Harvey Bristol Cream Sherry.

 

I drink a little these days but could not finish this many bottles before my death bed.

If they are unopened then you have some gifts you can hand out.  

 

If they are open just google some mixed drinks featuring the booze you have and make a batch when you have or go to a party.  Especially summer parties or tailgate parties.

The bottles that have been produced are still available but yeah I do not think you could find 151 made today

 

It's been awhile since It's been on the shelves - rumor was that the lawsuits from injuries due to flaming shots became too much - and I have nothing to back that up except rumor. I always thought it was funny that the bottle had a screen on it. A local store had 151 Cruzan for awhile but I haven't seen that in at least a year or two.

I am trying to figure out what to do with it and organizing is how I plan.

I assume you are asking about label - black - and it is #7 not #10 or #12 which seem more valuable.

It has a different neck label than all of the bottles I have mostly seen on searches.

 

 

Bottles are sealed except the Bristol Cream I opened last night.

 

Early this morning I sent info on bottles of King George UV Blended Scotch Whisky to 3 businesses which advertising buy whisky and whiskey,

One response so far of not looking for those.

Hoping to sell them and give my wife's friend the money.

 

 

(n college I used to be a "mixologist" at a club being tipped for mixed drinks and paid on tips alone.

I had a recipe book with stiffened pages which had drink recipe for one drink on it with picture of drink.

Opposite page (back of previous recipe) was blank so on each page I wrote joke(s) for recipe while watching Johnny Carson.

This helped generate more tips.

I never got full bottles in that job unless I emptied a bottle.

the hard liquor will be fine ... the cordials, sherry and wine will be iffy depending on the age. It has been at least 5 years since Bacardi stopped making the 151 ... someone might pay for that one. Mix the Myers with pineapple juice.

Harvey Bristol Cherry tastes good.  I have a bottle of rum unfinished but after that I will mix with grapefruit juice or with Arizona Ice Tea/Lemonade.  Some like vodka in Arnold Palmer, some like gin and I like rum.  It was very popular when I was a mixologist where I would put in two types of rum.

 

It is so hard to date spirits.  Rare is there a bottle date on it.
