The type that could give Allen a nightmare because he’d have multiple gaps in his protection, linebackers who are gonna eat against our run game, safeties who just don’t make mistakes, and in Ward a corner who’s good enough to annoy Diggs. If they had a legit QB, I’d make them the runaway favorite to win it all. As it is they have the best coach in this business IMO. bills6969 Posted January 14, 2023 Share Posted January 14, 2023 Bills v Niners was my preseason SB prediction. Figured if things didn’t work out with Lance, they have Jimmy G as plan B. Purdy coming out of nowhere and playing like he is is really surprising. Niners are the best team in NFC imo. Their D is LEGIT. That would be very tough game for us if it ends up happening. Success Posted January 14, 2023 Share Posted January 14, 2023 Bills/Niners would have been a better match-up for us in that 1st SB, imo. It would have been more of a shoot-out, which I think would have favored the K-Gun and how we played at that time. I'd love this match-up this year. Much respect for the Niners D, but I'll definitely take a rookie QB in the SB over the other options. If we get there, of course - the AFC is a gauntlet right now.
