Unsung hero in bad weather...

The D line rotation.   No one has mentioned this.  Cold windy wet...it wears down the Dline and by the end of the game most players just don't want to tackle.  Throw 8 to 10 different bodies at them and maybe that is less of an impact.

This is the time of the year (cold) that too much standing around (rotation of the DL) is IMO more of a curse than a blessing.  You get cold quickly in this weather, especially if you take a series or two off in a row.

I can say from experience I'd rather hit and be hit when I'm warm(er) than cold. I think the rotation is a detriment and needs to be ditched, for more than the above reason.

If we only had heaters to keep players on the bench warm

Sure they help but they by no means keep you "warm", have you spent time with one in 30 or below weather with howling wind?

I was always still cold and wish I could just play non stop to stay warmer

I dont think anyone is going to be kicking tonight if the wind in Buffalo is anything like it is here in Erie, PA right now. It's howlin right now.

Nope.  The espn crew almost got blown out of their chairs right now.  No kicks.

Let's hope Daboll has a few tricks up his sleeve for two-point conversions.

What do Tyler Bass and Dawson Know have in common?

I say 88! Knox’s number, and Bass shattering the longest FG record with that wind at his back!  :)

Maybe you are a city boy and haven't had to do the animal chores in the winter outside.  Sorry, working outside in the cold just sucks energy out of you and gets you tired fast.
