If he’s receiving double teams all the time, what does it matter where he’s lined up?

playing out of position what was discussed not facing double teams

Never been an All Pro DT with arms as miniaturized as Oliver’s.

He may break the mold, but good chance he is maxed.  Good but not great.

I suspect the great Alex Karras made the grade 50 + years ago, but arm length was not recorded for posterity.

Wasnt John Randle not drafted because of his size and measurables?

He really got asked to play out of position/scheme last year. Funny thing about a tough spot to be in like that is that normal reps are gunna feel alot easier for him next year. Like wrestling/fighting up a weight class, then coming back down. All the sudden youre a bigger fish in a smaller pond

It really is incredible.  Especially bareback.  Use to ride, and believe me I never made it look like that.

I think I need to go back in the thread for some context here.

Hopped in this thread, read this and...

I've actually never been on a horse before so I have no clue on any of this.  What makes what Oliver is doing difficult?

I keep reading how of tern Oliver was double teamed last year.  Anyone have any real data on this, like what percent of the time he was doubl?.  And when you say double i assume you mean legitimate double teamed, not one guy chipping him.

That information and analysis is towards the beginning of this thread

I think he kinda worked out sorta OK.

I’m hoping Horrible Harry surprises us as well with more time for the knee to heal and him learning to forget about it. Add in the new guys, and I’m eager to see what we have!

LET’S PLAY BALL!

Oliver has all of the talent in the world, and now he will be further surrounded with new talent. This will be a very telling season.

Yes but NEXT season will really be able to tell because Rousseau and Boogie will have a bigger impact so ....

Do you think John Randle now could play better than Marcel Dareus?

Well, I think he would try harder…..

If Dareus had his drive he’d be a lock for the HOF. Sadly, he’ll just be a guy who never tapped his full potential but has a nice collection of sailor caps.

His body control.   Nothing on Ed is moving.  He has the rein slack and the horse is effortlessly trotting and super comfertable with him.   A lot of it probably has to do with his leg strength.  But for comparison sake I am 6"1 and over 200 pounds and a horse can easily move me around on the saddle.  This video looks almost cartoonish given the speed and size of the animal.
