From your mouth to Gods ears!  Though while you're asking, could you request a larger margin of victory?

If I'm recalling correctly, the Bills in the Superbowl Years would get spanked, I mean really uncharacteristically spanked, at least once a season.

Maybe it's psychology that even if you say all the right stuff to other people about "a lot we need to clean up" "not where I want to be yet" "lot I can improve", after a certain amount of success part of you stops believing it and starts thinking you can just walk in and do what you do.

Then you get a reality check and it's back to the grind.

I don't like it that Josh is apparently talking about arranging a charity throw-off with Mahomes pre-game.  IMHO, distraction and he should be all business, 100% focused, before the game.

OK - 34/30. 😎

A throw off is a really bad idea for many reasons, a fact which I am sure the coaches will point out to him.

I realize what I wrote was ambiguous.  I should have written "talking pregame about arranging a charity throwoff to be held at some future offseason date"

I have no strong opinion on whether a throw-off for charity at some off season date is a bad idea.

I have a very very very strong opinion:  Josh, Take Care of Business.  Pregame, be All About the Game.  Be a professional.  Be a competitor.

Ruh-Roh - Edmunds not on the injury report yesterday.

Probably because it was just a walk through and didn’t need the no contact jersey

Am I off in thinking this is quite a pleasant surprise regarding Milano? Seems like we were all made to think this was more than 2 week recovery. Maybe I just read things wrong

Bills not putting him on IR was a good sign.

Where did you see this? He was asked about this by the media yesterday because mahomes talked about it earlier In the week, and Allen said he would not be considering it until after the season and pre-game wasn’t really a thought

Again, I wrote confusedly - it was in Allen's interview  I think that he wanted to TALK to Mahomes pre-game about setting it up off-season.

I don't want him to even TALK about anything that isn't laser-focused on the game.

Good point on Edmunds

Knox is DNP

I don’t think he would have talked about it if he wasn’t asked about it. He seemed to just throw something out there that the media seemed to want “yeah maybe I’ll talk to him About it pre-game” - he seemed more disinterested in it than Mahomes did when he was asked

I thought it was positive when they didn't put him on the short-term 3 game IR., that they hoped he could come back sooner.

It probably helps that we're playing Monday and not Thurs. though

And he may be playing with a brace and not at 100% .... though I think possibly 85% of Matt Milano is probably better than our alternatives.

agreed. many feared he would be out until after the NE game.

if he plays this week its a massive boost for the rest of our season. most important player on the defense.

Great clip, YOLO, THANKS!

I had the feeling there might be more to what Johnathan Abram had to say

Any idea how/where I could find the full interview?

He sounded like he had a lot more to say about and a lot more respect for Mahomes.  Of course,  being in the same conference, he's already played the Chiefs 3x and likely heard more about them and Mahomes from his teammates, not to mention seen Mahomes on national TV.

This is the first time the Raiders have played the Bills since 2017.   And of course, Josh's national TV appearances to date have been a mixed bag - a great game against Dallas, mixed bag against Pittsburgh and Houston, some good things but overall bad game on Tues.

Edit: OK I found it on the SiriusXM App: Sports in 60, "Moving the Chains 10/15/2020", it's about 48 minutes in

I am so very disappointed in this year’s defense.  I’m worried that KC will put up 50+

They will rebound.

KC will still put up around 30pts, but we need to expect that. If we can keep KC to around 30 and our offense rebounds we have a solid shot of winning. 31-35 type deal.

The defense got embarrassed last week. Hopefully they come out with a bit more fire this Monday.

The 5:00 time slot is dumb. 👎 I get it from a marketing and broadcast standpoint,  but it really deals a blow to many fans’ game day routines and deflates the excitement (for some, I’m sure). I am of the lucky group that get out of work early enough (3:00) to not feel rushed and get to experience SOME resemblance of my rituals.

Maybe I’m being dramatic, but after two straight weeks of these random prime time slots, I’m itching for my wheel-house 1:00 Sunday slot ASAP!

KC’s defense isn’t as bad as some fans are claiming

they will be ready for our offense. Allen needs to have the best game of his career if we want to win.

Damn these Titans for dampening my enthusiasm for this game. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited to see how we measure up, but I’ve been taken down a peg after that beat down on Tuesday. Prior to the Titans game, I thought we could hang with anyone. I was riding high. Hopefully, that was a temporary set back caused by an uncertain schedule in an otherwise exemplary 2020 season.

I live in KC and theyre basicaly my second team by default. Their defense is pretty bad.

The Rams’ defense is much better and we put up 35pts on them. But i agree Allen will have to have another 350yd 4 total touchdown game for us to win probably.

For definitions of "a bit more fire" equal to "an M2 Flamethrower vs a Bic lighter", I hope you're right

The loss wasn't about a loss of fire.  It was about a loss of talent from the starting lineup.  And Josh reverted partially to the old Josh which didn't help.

The only way we win against KC is if we keep our end in a shootout.  Everyone is talking about the defense; it's the offense that will have to perform if we are to win.

I think all three phases of the game need to show up.
