I had several nightmares in which we selected Rudolph.  Woke up in cold sweats.  I don’t think there’s ever been a player I hated so much heading into a draft

I think in his first preseason action he threw his first pass for a pick 6 against Green Bay.

Also, another annual cut-down day reminder...the roster at 4 p.m. today is unlikely to be the roster next Sunday.  There always seem to be additional moves.

Perhaps more this year, with a 16-man PS. Or, perhaps less with the realities of pandemic life?

Sal said by cutting Andre Smith the Bills get their conditional pick back. But now he's in the building and cleared Covid protocol so he can go right on the PS with no 5-day wait

Correctamundo.  I credit Joe B. for pointing this out almost immediately.  Very Beane-like.  Shrewd.

Nothing, but what do they care?  They were going to release him.  Instead, they gave him a chance with a friendly organization.

The wording of the condition might also say if he ever is on the active roster it activates

Surprise to me that neither DiMarco or Andre Smith make it. Leaves them a bit short of inside guys for special teams.

Would not surprise me in the least if Smith is called back up when Mongo goes to IR.  I think they felt he could slide through and it may negate the loss of the conditional pick.

Win-Win
