Interesting move here. Remember reading about him in the linked article and he seemed like a real "glue guy"

Thanks for the article.  Seems like a good guy.  God a kick out of this........

The man in the picture collects sweaty laundry in the Bills’ postgame locker room, is LeSean McCoy’s travel consultant and has been an emergency snow shoveler at New Era Field

Wheat is responsible for having Bills staff, first responders and game-day agencies on alert for situations ranging from a terrorist attack to a ***** chucked onto the field.

He's been there since 1997 but they are thanking him for  nearly 20 years of hard work and dedication to our organization.  Hmmm 🤔

Has savage feel to it, right?

HAHA I thought the same thing.  Guess the last 3 years he just F'd off.  Heck I see that at work here.  In fact I got 14 months to go.  I want my time to be a F-off

I guess we can forget about the Bills being SB contenders.

Ok.....I’ll do it! What’s the starting pay? Do I get a parking stall near the building?

CAO is one hell of a cushy job.  It’s like being being a CFO without any responsibility for the numbers.

Have a feeling there is probably a lot of paper pushing and documentation that likely goes with it...not my kind of job

Pegs are responsible for operations.......they don't want this guy then he is out.  Cause?  don't matter, he is an "at will" employee....interesting he had a contract though, most admins do not.......

I’d like to interview. What does he do. More importantly, what does it pay?

TBD will need your resume submitted properly, through the "Would Ya" thread.........

Honestly, these kind of behind-the-scenes people DO help businesses run smoothly. Hope they find a good replacement. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Seems like they chose to move on from him ... any reason why?

Because the Pegula sports empire is a well oiled machine and they want to achieve some synergies from the successes they have had with the Sabres and the multiple successful hires they have had in upper management

Even if it were 23 years, that is still nearly 20. Just depends which way you are approaching from.

But as others pointed out, there was a 4 year break in there too.

I’m so done with this team.

We let another CAO walk after his contract expires and get nothing in return. And now we'll have to draft another in the 1st round. The cycle continues. Same ol Bills.

Jokes aside...  Why let this guy go?    After reading the article, I'm even more confused.   It's hard to find good hands on people who are also good at running things...

Is it conflicts regarding the new stadium?

Security at the game I went to last season was terrible.

Don't worry, next crew will do a better job and have your name on list as "banned".

Do you think the Bills would get me a green card to do the job?

Seriously you would probably need to be an intern overseas first to get their attention.

Likely the Bills have eye on someone from another organization they wish to promote and hire.   They have been very good with executive staff hired since Beane was hired and he likely has someone in mind.
