That is the third kicker we have played to be fired.

Nugent's release comes after a rain-soaked 27-13 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in which he missed a 34-yard field goal, and a 29-yarder was blocked. It was the first blocked field goal against them since 2006.

When will the Bills hold their players to that standard?

Houshka has been bad since last year, and was horrible last week (weather is no excuse).

I’ll forgive him for missing a 53 yarder in a game our defense handed to our opponent. Houshka has been money otherwise.

Yes, he hasn’t been very good. No, weather is an excuse when it is 50 mph winds swirling around.

Then why do we keep walking away from field goals in the upper 40 to low 50 range? There are signs that his range is not up to par.

Anyone who can't see the decline in Hauschka is not paying attention.

He was released; not kicked off.

Fake news.

Same same, layed off = fired, released=kicked off = fired.

Fine he was given a pink slip....I used this phrase because I know pink is your favorite color you girly man.

I don't know that I have a favorite color.  Probably either green or blue.  But I do wear pink at least once/week, most weeks.

hasn't been right since the hit below. Maybe he still hasn't fully recovered. Washington's kicker has been solid for a few years now. We drafted him, an injury led to him missing the first year when we signed Dan Carpenter. Carpenter played well enough that we kept him and cut Hopkins a year later. Kind of wish we had a do-over on that one.
