rayray808 453 Posted August 19 Doyle TE Colts? Draft picks?
Patrick_Duffy 1,090 Posted August 19 I have no idea, but I would think "if" they did decide to trade one, I think they could get more for McCoy than Zay. At the same time you never really can tell with the way BB wheels and deals. Sometimes he will surprise you.
John from Riverside 5,381 Posted August 19 Draft picks....and not high ones
LSHMEAB 3,200 Posted August 19 Maybe a 7th round pick and a player to be named later.

MJS 3,469 Posted August 19 Zay, maybe a 5th. I doubt we could trade McCoy.
Aussie Joe 1,608 Posted August 19 Can’t see someone giving up a pick for the pleasure of paying Shady $6 Mil this year...

Unfortunately I just don't see Shady having a big year. Or basically just keep him as an insurance policy because most likely he will get hurt somewhere during the season. BuffaloBillsGospel 459 Posted August 19 I would say realistically they would try to bring in a pass rusher.
Mark Vader 1,693 Posted August 19 We should not be entertaining the idea of trading Shady.
Dr.Sack 485 Posted August 19 Might as well keep em

I’m not sure who you are referencing but Shady has only missed a handful of games as a Bill and played hurt in a few more. You need depth at RB no doubt.
GETTOTHE50 682 Posted August 19 I know McD drafted him, but if he’s true to his word about competition, then Zay should be cut or traded since he’s been clearly outperformed by others including McKenzie, Duke, and even Ray-Ray. It sucks cause I like Zay the person, but he just doesn’t have that big time play capability.

Maybe Gruden should cut Carr.😉😎
SlimShady'sGhost 8,789 Posted August 19 Neither Because you will not get a lot from either of them IMO.
H2o 4,020 Posted August 19 We don't trade either. Shady is in the last year of his deal, wants to be here, and imo can still be effective. Our RB depth hasn't been this good in a long time. Injuries happen. Last year Zay took an obvious step forward. He's young, cheap, and has some talent. Keep him as well. 2

BigBuff423 629 Posted August 19 I'm fine with trading Shady, mainly due to the great talent and early signs of real promise from Singletary as well as Gore and Yeldon holding down the backfield. But Zay is in his 3rd year, had a crappy QB to throw him the ball plus he was injured his entire Rookie season with a torn labrum and then had a piss-poor Offensive line to protect a Rookie QB. Zay had a really great final quarter last year when, you guessed it, Allen started to put together his season and his arrow was pointing directly up. Give Zay this year where I think he won't be asked to be the focal point, Offensive line should be better to give Allen more time, and he's fully healthy. Three really important things, not to mention continuity with a progressing young QB, to any WR's development. This should be a year where you see Zay have a great complimentary role as a #2-ish. There is no real #1 which is why I put the -ish on it. Beasley will hold the slot most of the time, Brown will be the primary outside target, and Zay will be able to find those open holes between the two. IF, big if, it all goes according to plan and the line and Allen stay healthy.

DCofNC 71 Posted August 19 If you could get somebody to gove up a 4th for Zay, I'd take it. My bet is neither guy can bring more than a 6th and thats why they are still here.
Over 29 years of fanhood 3,091 Posted August 19 (edited) Trade the starting running back and WR2 for a 6th to draft someone to who may be PS. That is how you build a team? Wonder if they could get a third for EO? Hughes for a 5th sound good? Edited August 19 by Over 29 years of fanhood 1
SoCal Deek 1,767 Posted August 19 I’m guessing that if it’s a topic in a message board that it’s also one in real life. The fact that Shady is still on the team is a pretty good indication that none of the 31 other GMs have offered the Bills much of anything for him. What’s something worth?...What someone else is willing to pay for it.
