Trade down and stockpile picks because we need a lot of talent. Green Bay has two first rounders and I could see them being aggressive and possibly trying to trade up to the Top 5. I'd love if we ended up with a haul like this next April 1. Kelvin Harmon-WR North Carolina State 6'3 212 1. Amani Oruwariye-CB Penn State 6'1 201 2. Kaden Smith-TE Stanford 6'5 252 2. Chris Lindstrom-RG Boston College 6'4 315 3. Jaylon Ferguson-DE Louisiana Tech 6'5 262 4. Bennie Snell Jr-RB Kentucky 5'11

I wouldn't be shocked to see the Bills make that pick. But I would hope they have at least added talent to the WR position via free agency and then go in round 2 and 3 and find some supplemental pass catchers. The cornerback spot opposite Tre’Davious White has been a revolving door of mediocre defensive backs for the Bills in 2018. The Bills have watched several players come and go, including Vontae Davis and Phillip Gaines. Ryan Lewis has also been a part of the starting secondary in the past. This come a season after Buffalo allowed EJ Gaines to skip town to Cleveland as a free agent. For the moment, it looks like the Wallace will make his name permanent in the starting lineup. Didn't u dersrand why the Bills let EJ Gaines leave without much effort to keep him. Seemed a rad injurynprone, but played solidly for sure when healthy. He's only been healthy enough to play in 43 of them. Edited November 19, 2018 by Royale with Cheese

Gaines was also expected to get a huge deal coming off of a strong 2017 season and the general thirst for CB play. I think the Bills took a shot on what they thought would a much cheaper shorter commitment option in Vonta while drafting a couple of corners in the mid rounds behind Vonta. I think had the Bills known EJ would go for what he did they probably would have resigned him. I can't blame the Bills for over estimating EJ's market since everyone was projecting EJ to be one of the few top corners available on the market. Most people were estimating that EJ would get 8-10 million per-year on a multi year deal with a sizable guarantee.

With all the money the Bills have next year I expect them to target a couple in FA. A high 1st rounder can be dealt back for an impact offensive player. At least that's how I hope it works out. Bfanlc
Left cornerback Levi Wallace of the Buffalo Bills had five tackles in a 24-21 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Wallace has played in two games in his NFL career, started both and the Bills have won both. Not saying its a coincidence buttttttt....

26CornerBlitz
5 Bills' Storyline to Watch vs. the Jets Levi Wallace Part 2 Against the Jets, Wallace got his first-career start in Week 10. Since then, he’s been OK. Wallace did allow Donte Moncrief to grab a long pass against him when the Bills faced off against the Jaguars, but most forget about that since a brawl erupted seconds later. In his last game, Wallace faced DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills from the Dolphins. To date, he probably has his toughest challenge in Week 14. The Jets feature Robby Anderson, Quincy Enunwa and Jermaine Kearse. Anderson didn’t play the last time these two met, just like Darnold. Keep an eye on the undrafted rookie corner this week to see if he’s up to the task.
26CornerBlitz
From Joe B's Five Things for the NYJ game: 3) Levi Wallace to face his biggest test? - The Bills made a move about a month ago now to release cornerback Phillip Gaines, which gave an opportunity to Levi Wallace to be the full-time starter at cornerback. Wallace, also an undrafted rookie, hasn't had any glaring errors in his three games of starting. However, he hasn't faced a quarterback that would try to punish the Bills for starting a rookie cornerback, either. In order, the Wallace and the Bills have faced Josh McCown, Blake Bortles, and Ryan Tannehill -- one backup, and two starters that could be replaced by their teams ahead of the 2019 season. This time around the Bills will be up against rookie Sam Darnold. And while he might be inexperienced, he isn't afraid to sling the ball around -- at least not yet -- as his league-leading 14 interceptions would indicate. Darnold and the Jets are likely quite aware of Wallace, considering on the opposite side of the field they'd have to contend with second-year player Tre'Davious White, who is one of the better cornerbacks in the league. It's natural logic to think that a quarterback willing to throw the ball around would target Wallace rather than White. So, like Foster, this is a clear opportunity for the undrafted rookie cornerback. In the next three weeks, Wallace will go up against Darnold, the throw-friendly Matt Stafford with Detroit, and then the ultimate challenge in Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Should Wallace be able to show well in those three games, that will likely bump down adding another starting cornerback on the priority list. He's off to a good start, but this Sunday begins the real test for Wallace.

In Week’s 10-14 (Wallace’s 1st four games), Wallace grades as PFF’s fifth-best cornerback. Over that span, Wallace has been targeted 11 times and allowed 5 receptions for 50 yards with 2 pass breakups. He’s allowed just 4 yards after the catch and gave up just one reception to a target longer than 10 yards beyond the line of scrimmage despite being tested on 5 occasions.
