You can't curve flat brims?   Why not?   All caps used to come with a flat brim - the first thing you did when you got a new cap as a kid was style the brim with the right amount of curve for the image you wanted.

I was thinking about getting one, but not if I have to wear it flat.

It looks good you though.

All jokes aside I actually think the hat looks really cool.  But like many have said the flat rim doesnt work me.

Funny, I was looking at threads about flat vs. curved.   There's no reason not bend a flat brim.

I find, however, that hat with pre-curved brims fit my head better.  That's not going to stop me from picking up a #34.  Looks cool, and I need a new cap.

So flat brim aside...what do guys think about the look of hat?  I actually really like it.  I'm not much of a hat guy but I'd get this one.  I'd be cool if they did a whole line of these for older players...kelly... biscuit..whoever.  altho then this one wouldnt be special.

I think the design is brutal, and white will be filthy after one tailgate.

I’ve been wearing 5950s since I was a kid, you can certainly curve the brim. My issue is that I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 4, so that limits the “bend” for me.

I have some throwback hats from the 1990s that I bought "new'. They start out flat brim, but the brims are much smaller than the flat brims today.

You can definitely bend flat brims.  They aren't made of titanium or anything.  I just hate the side 34 patch on it.  It's too big and ruins the hat IMO.

I have taken it upon myself to measure the size of "flat" brims and "curved" brims from New Era within the last year.  They are the exact same size regardless of which style you chose.  The pre-curved ones just give you a head start on bending it the way you want, that is the only difference.

Flat brim is ridiculous, I agree plenz.  On about any age.  It looks acceptable on a 150 lbs something yr old with the skinny jeans because the skinny jeans are for more of a disaster than the hat.

Your just mad cause you dont look as good in the skinny jeans....

And no, flat brings look dumb on everyone, it's usually the white guy in baggy clothes trying to look like he just stepped out of the hood going to a rap concert that wear the brim flat, usually with the stickers also still on it.

From all the hats I ever bought, they all come flat and you just work it yourself to get a curve from either a slight curve to full on arch like the old guy with his 20 year old tattered hat would wear while fixing his cars......

I'm talking about hats from the 90s. my argument is that brims have gotten bigger overall. Flat brim or not.

Nice design, but hats are overpriced, especially in the Bills shop.

You use to buy a fitted hat for $25. In the late 90's for instance, MLB hats could be had for cheap.

But now? $45 - $50 in the Bills shop?

No way.

Late 90s was 20 years ago.....

I agree. I stopped wearing hats 2003 - 2004 time frame.

For me?  The new designs are basic compared to the past and they're twice as expensive.

No way am I spending $120 on a replica jersey and another $50 on a hat.

My Dad for instance. Buys the Draft hat every season. He's got a pile of them. But I wear my stuff until its falling apart and NFL apparel is overpriced.

I got my own Thurman hat.  I was with a bunch cheering for him and he threw me a Hall of Fame hat, one with his name and number on it.

The basic '47 caps are good enough for this old guy.

At the New Era store they can curve any flat brim hat.
