They wouldn't even let him punt warm ups on the main field vs. Eagles since the Eagles were looking at adding a punter. Sounds like a Belichick thing to do. Bills saw threw it and moved in. Props to Beane and his staff. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/09/buffalo_bills_claim_new_england_patriots_cb_ryan_lewis_p_corey_bojorquez_off_wai.html He smoked a punt 83 yards in the air at his pro day. Bills must’ve had some advanced scouting on this fella.
boater
Colton and Corey ... the punters even have punter names.
Doc Brown
47.3 yards per punt last year in New Mexico. Corey Schmidt was at 44.7 ypp. I don't like using college stats to project an NFL player's performance, but that's all you can really go off of at this point. ocemur
Belichik has a fetish for left footed punters. The ball spins the opposite way and can mess with returners. I wonder if this guy is a lefty.

MJS
Schmidt definitely had some issues this preseason. Hopefully the new kid turns out to be good. If not, I'm sure we'll cut him and try another guy.

jimmy10
Love it. Beane’s college scout team did their homework and the pro scouts took note of the Pats attempt to stash him. Love the lefty angle too. Makes sense the rotation would mess with returners.

K-9
Lewis has some athletic tools to work with for sure. His issue is inexperience. I hope a year of learning in Bellyache’s system helped. Intrigued by this signing.

brianthomas
With our interior o-line having issues, it still sucks a bit to lose Ike Boettger to the Chiefs. I know our staff knows more about him than we do but i'd like to see more depth added & not see these guys go. The punter & cb look promising however!
