Michael Jordan would make some sense.  I know he hasn't been very successful as an NBA owner, but I have no doubt the NFL would love to have him.  Not sure if his interest is real (or just assumed), but it would be a huge get for the NFL.

He wouldn't be to partnering with some serious cash and only be a minority owner; which is an issue because he will want to be part of the face of the franchise. He could do it if the group was right, there are a ton of rumors on who the group could be - Oprah, Curry, others.

Most here believe it'll be an out of towner and the team will be moved.  I could only hope that to be true.

The NFL seems like they want 6 teams in California so it might be true.

none of these guys on their own have enough money.  *IF* a bunch of rappers banded together to try and buy a team let's not forget that they would need to be approved by the league.  you can have enough money and still not make the cut.

The league is not good with the idea of a “group” of owners.  Historically, they have been pretty closed to the idea.  Though with such large valuation numbers for some teams maybe this artificial barrier will need to come down.

Good point.  They want 1 majority (BILLIONAIRE) owner.  As the team values go up and up this will eventually be harder to achieve with 1 owner but I doubt they change the rules now for P Diddy or Snoop Dogg!  If they want a team their best chance is the NBA

The NFL will never approve the sale of the Panther's to Snoop or group that includes Snoop simply because, right or wrong he is a well known pot head and they won't want that associated with the NFL image.

....you know damn well if a consortium shows they have or can raise the capital, the "ownership race card" will be lurking shortly....

Yep! Let them have Kaep- he is marginally average at best

...CERTAINLY agree on his skill set (irrespective of his politics-could care less)....he was quickly figured out by DC's.....and....his focus became his tats and poses versus the game of football as in "blinded by the limelight".....but he is unofficially being blackballed ( Incognito was as well UNOFFICIALLY) but racial overtones have been woven in.....hence P-Diddy sets the stage as a potential black owner hiring Kaep whose idleness is due to racial overtones in some circles and leaves the ball in the NFL's court to counter when their ratings/opinions are sinking...pretty smart move if he is serious?..........
