dollars 2 donuts
The freaking Dolphins playing the dreadful Ravens. Weirdly (and thankfully) the Bills are still in a playoff spot at that time. We have to keep this going. Badly, badly we need this win against the Raiders and then against the Jets. Welcome to the AFC East, one of the toughest divisions in football. Darn it. Edited October 23, 2017 by dollars 2 donuts
billsbackto81
The Dolphins are in no position to overlook no team. Their D is good but still have many flaws and are fortunate to have 4 wins thus far. Don't be surprised if the Ravens win.

Bb81, I can't believe that as of right now I am not thrilled to play any team in our division. Meanwhile, 4-3 and barely beating the Browns gets you a divisional lead around this league. I hate the Pats and the Phins and jets are a combined 8-6 by Thursday.
GunnerBill
I think Miami will win Thursday and agree we've got to have these next two games. If the Bills are 6-2 with 4 divisional games still to come and with a 4-1 AFC record we would have put ourselves back in prime position to make at least a wildcard. If we are 6-2 by Thursday of the jets during the Pats bye week, we are technically in first place, even if all three teams (including the Dolphins) are 6-2. Bills 4-1 in the conference, Pats 3-1, with both 1-0 in the division and the Phins would be 1-1. thenorthremembers
They needed the Bengals game badly and have to win against the Saints, Jets, and Dolphins twice to have a legitimate shot this year. This is the reality of the AFC East where you start the year 0-2. No room for any margin of error like dropping one to a team like the Bengals. Matt in KC
who started the year 0-2? I think he's saying in the AFC East you go in at a huge advantage because you know you are going to lose 2 to the Patriots*

YoloinOhio
Disagree, I don't think either Miami or Baltimore are good but the Ravens have a significant advantage at home typically and they should have Maclin back by then. I'll take the Ravens defense vs the Miami offense any day.

Chuck Wagon
Next 4 games are huge. All "winnable", a 3-1 run puts us at 7-3 coming down the stretch, feels like 10-6 gets us in the playoffs, especially if we have the H2H advantage over Denver & Miami. This game against Oakland is HUGE, could all but knock them out when it comes down to them vs us.

Beyond that - Saints are 4-2. Followed by 2 back to back road games @Chargers and @KC. Focus on this week,

This game against Oakland is HUGE, could all but knock them out when it comes down to them vs us. Current 4-2 The next three are winnable (2 @ home and 1 on the road @ Jets) 3-0 The following three are the hardest and we probably go 0-3 (2 on the road to WC @Chargers, @KC and then home to NE) 0-3 Then we have four games with 2 home games followed by 2 road games (home to Jets and Miami followed by Road games @NE and @Miami) A 2-2 here will put us @ 9-7 and probably out of the playoffs. Can they win that season finale @ Miami and get to a 10-6 record?

cba fan
I don't follow... They are now below Bills for payoff picture and the head to head loss Bills suffered in Cincy looks to have no bearing if this trend continues. Others might think If Cincy keeps winning then the Bills loss does not look so bad, which is true but complete opposite is needed for playoff prospects because If Ciny keeps winning then they beat Bills in tie breakers. Need Ciny to lose like they did against a not great Steelers team. Edited October 23, 2017 by cba fan
