This defense will NEVER be healthy.  There is some fundamental problem with the McDermott defensive scheme and philosophy…it is more than just bad luck

The offense is gonna have to play well today. Because the defense is beat up to hell. 

 

Dane Jackson started the year as the Bills 5th string outside corner and is now playing. They are time splitting between Jones and a DT who is like our 10th man up? Who do they have left at DE? Groot, Bosa with a club, Solomon and who else....?

That was an awful defensive effort.  Who was calling plays on that drive?  Just brutal.

Ya that was absolute best case scenario for the dolphins even if the dolphins didn't score. They want to burn clock and keep the game close, mcD gave them exactly that.

All not going for it on 4th and short has done is injure Jackson, and maybe White, and burn the clock. If we'd turned the ball over on downs they would have just scored quicker.

This why you can't punt against this team on 4th and inches. We are not currently fielding a defense you can feel good about needing a key stop.
