wjag Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Concussion. When he put his hands to his head on the sideline. Quote
aristocrat Posted September 15 Posted September 15 At first concussion then as he’s leaning forward I’m Like probably a bloody nose cause he wouldn’t run off the field for a concussion Quote
Buffalo ill Posted September 15 Posted September 15 (edited) My thought was "at least the season is over week 2 so I do not need to get emotionally invested this year". Edit: I was watching off and on with my phone while at work. Did not see the play he got hurt and randomly tuned in to Mitch at QB. Edited September 15 by Buffalo ill Quote
CircleTheWagons99 Posted September 15 Posted September 15 He got poked or had something in his eye. Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted September 15 Posted September 15 I thought in the moment he had something in his eye or a loose contact lens. I've never seen him in glasses so I dont think he wears contacts. Quote
KingBoots8 Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Ah, hell… wait a sec: - he is jogging, legs are fine - not holding his hands or elbows, his arm is probably ok *replay* - eye gouge? - ah, blood. Ok, nose or mouth. Quote

Goin Breakdown Posted September 15 Posted September 15 I thought"Romo, shut up man". His reaction should get him a job as the new KC play by play guy. Quote

They have clear visors now. Also they are far enough away that they aren't really reading your eye but probably the stripe on the top of your helmet. Quote
thronethinker Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Ironically I was thinking just before that play that Allen getting hurt would be typical as playing in Jersey seems to be his Kryptonite. I couldn’t believe it that at that exact moment they call a QB keeper up the middle of the line…Why take that risk with Allen? The payoff of that play is so small compared to the risk involved. Too many large bodies leading to disaster. Our whole house went silent for a few seconds till he pointed at his nose and immediately we all drew a huge relief. Honestly though, why call that play? Yes Allen needs to be a threat on the ground but not with that play. Quote
T master Posted September 15 Posted September 15 At first I thought he may have been poked in the eye and thought that it wasn't good . A broken nose isn't either but it's much better than getting something wrong with his eye . I hope he heals fast and may need a shield from this point forward to protect him from another type incident . Quote
oldmanfan Posted September 15 Posted September 15 A quick gasp of breath, followed by knowing it was just a shot to the face. I thought he either had bloody nose or had some teeth knocked out Quote

JakeFrommStateFarm Posted September 15 Posted September 15 I got scared ! You could see he was in alot pain !! Quote
Augie Posted September 15 Posted September 15 This is a trap. There is no way I can print here what I was thinking at that moment. I mean, it really won’t even let me try! Quote
juno999 Posted September 15 Posted September 15 I thought he was poked in the eye or a bloody nose. I didn’t flip out. I thought he’d miss a few plays and come back in. Quote
