billsfan89 Posted September 14 Posted September 14 The Bills took care of business against a divisional opponent away and a divisional opponent that in their house always seems to play a tight game. The defense looked more like the improved unit fans thought it would be. The Jets offensive line is a pretty good unit and the front 7 handled the Jets and kept their good RB’s from getting going. Offense executed a good game plan. special teams also looked crisp. Very few if any injuries just a good Sunday 4 Quote

Bangarang Posted September 14 Posted September 14 (edited) Defense came to play. Bosa is going to be a very important piece for this team. Seemed like everyone but Cook were just going through the motions on offense. It's going to be a weekly occurrence that I hope Brady gets hired to be a HC isn't it? Coverage on ST has been noticeably better. Edited September 14 by Bangarang Quote
Success Posted September 14 Posted September 14 (edited) It's a testament to how spoiled I am now that the excitement from regular season wins that are NOT against KC or Baltimore wear off fairly quickly. I remember back in the day, any win could carry my mood for a week. Edited September 14 by Success 2 Quote

Bruffalo Posted September 14 Posted September 14 This game just shows that the Bills are going to be a force again this year. Nothing going cleanly on offense, doesn't matter still score 30 points. Missing our Nickel CB and arguably top DT: Doesn't matter, still make stops. This team can look out of sorts and still dominate. 4 Quote

Rew Posted September 14 Posted September 14 (edited) That was the most mundane game I've ever attended (I've seen most jersey homes games the last 15 years). I can say that watching cook live is incredibly impressive. You don't really get an appreciation for his combination of vision, wiggle, and drive on broadcast coverage. Also, shout out to the party at F-9 Edited September 14 by Rew 1 1 2 Quote
Bockeye Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Going to be interesting to see how good our D looks once we get the injured and suspended players back. Tre looked great today! 2 4 Quote

Coverage on ST has been noticeably better. I mentioned to my family that special teams have looked noticeably better this season offense was interesting, I felt the o line held up well, cook ran well, Kincaid looked good. Coleman and Palmer caught their targets. I felt Knox dropped some easy ones, and the play calls were quite conservative. when you play bad teams, you don’t want to give them any gimmes, and I think the bills played a smart conservative game throughout Quote
JustHewIt Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Geez can't believe that was so easy against the Ravens-lite 🙄 GO BILLS 2 Quote

Shortchaz Posted September 14 Posted September 14 A glimpse of what we hoped our defense might be this year. Don’t f it up McDermott. 2 1 Quote
TFBillsfan Posted September 14 Posted September 14 (edited) While injuries suck, it’s nice getting the W and getting Walker, Sanders and some other guys experience which should be beneficial later in the year. And even more impressive is Josh didn’t have to be Superman today. He was more Clark Kent today. Edited September 14 by TFBillsfan 2 Quote

Anyone who says they are nervous/scared and "don't have a good feeling" against the Fins this week should be banned ALL true. And trying to be a touch more convivial, I said here a couple of days ago, that the Bills are better - much better against all their remaining opponents up until they play the Chiefs. (IMHO, they are a FG better than the Chiefs at home- now). Still, like today- pedal to the metal! NO SLACKING OFF! NO TAKING ANYONE FOR GRANTED! This is what Championship Teams do! Squish those putrid Fish! 1 Quote
Special K Posted September 14 Posted September 14 It stunned me that Jets fans were going into this game with such confidence. Why?? Because you kept the game close against an overrated Steelers team? The only thing that surprised me more than Jets fans overconfidence, was the lack of confidence from some on this board in your team. I'm sure the Bills will lose a game or two during the season, but it won't be a common occurrence. This team is elite.......get used to it, folks!! Go Bills!! 5 2 3 Quote
