Alphadawg7 Posted July 24 Posted July 24 He’s been creating a lot of buzz and making a lot of plays. It’s way too early to conclude anything, but he’s off to about as good of a start as he could have there. 8 1 1 Quote

Breakout Squad Posted July 24 Posted July 24 We’re talking about practice. Practice. Not the game I bleed die for. We talkin about practice man 😏 1 Quote
WotAGuy Posted July 24 Posted July 24 Has he done that thing where the receiver runs by him and Elam falls down? 9 Quote

Inigo Montoya Posted July 24 Posted July 24 Wish him nothing but the best. He needed a change of scenery. Hope it works out for him except when we're playing the Boys. 12 8 2 Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted July 24 Posted July 24 (edited) Elam will be a probowler this season. But I believe hes the only Bills CB ever to intercept Mahommes once in the regular season and intercept the Dolphins in the playoffs But that wasn't good enough for McDermott because Elam didn't fit in with McDermotts soft zone cerebral unathletic scheme Edited July 25 by JakeFrommStateFarm 3 4 1 1 3 5 4 Quote
Big Turk Posted July 25 Posted July 25 He always has a knack for making plays, he just couldn't find consistency down to down. 2 Quote

This is a magnanimous take and I'm maybe 90% on board. The other 10% is the %$@ him sentiment I have cuz he ended up being a dreadful first rounder for us at a position where he could have made a difference (even a small one could have helped). 1 Quote

Colossal bust. EDIT: I don’t blame Elam and I don’t think he failed due to lack of effort. Similarly to Maybin, he was overdrafted. Not his fault. I do wish him well, but I don’t think a change in scenery is going to elevate his level of talent. Edited July 25 by Gugny 1 1 1 Quote

I think we unintentionally did him kinda dirty even picking him. Anybody wishing different is a petty I can't get with 3 Quote

Anybody wishing different is a petty I can't get with The Chiefs failed him. If they had drafted him his handiness would have gotten him a HOF ticket already! Maybe a jacket, but at least a ticket! 1 3 Quote
Thurman#1 Posted July 25 Posted July 25 He gave everything he had, and that's what I expect. Didn't fit the scheme for whatever reason. I wish him the best in all future endeavors, except when he's playing the Bills. 2 1 Quote
