And honestly, their franchise has had a lot of success under him.

Manning is the only reason someone could say the Colts have had a lot of success with Irsay.

Irsay is 148-204 without Peyton Manning as his QB.

For what it's worth, they could have drafted Ryan Leaf, and I like the stadium.  And to the OP, yes, I am glad that Irsay does not own the Bills.  That said, I'd take him over Trump or the Toronto Bills owned by John Bon Jovi/Rogers.

Dallas did this when they took both Aikman and Steve Walsh (supplemental draft) in the same year.  Redskins did it with RG3 and Cousins.  Honestly, don't hate the idea of doubling down on 2 QB's to increase the odds you get one, as the other still would have trade value later.

But outside of that, Irsay is really the one of the worst.

That was Bill Polian.

Speaking of Ryan Leaf, he was a guest in-studio analyst on GMFB this morning, as Peter Schrager was at the draft.

He had some good insights on Levis being at the draft and not picked and the pressures of being a first round QB.  He even had some funny self-depreciating lines, like the busts of the 2nd pick.
