Andy1
Greg Cosell mentioned Ole Miss WR Jonathan Mingo as an intriguing prospect. He is a big physical style WR who we could possibly pick in 2nd or 3rd rounds. Just something to consider….

With the plus being that the ball doesn't rocket off of his pads like he's wearing a mini-trampoline when he body catches.

I like Mingo too, might be good value if they wait a bit on receiver, which they have been known to do. I’m also surprised by Josh Downs measurement, he looks like a solid receiver but only came in at 5’9”, that might push him down.

Can see him providing a prime Beasley security blanket from the slot. Plus he's a vertical threat. Gonna need to put on some NFL strength. I can’t compare anyone to Tyreek but he is explosive. He had a 25 yard play in all but one of his games this season. Jayden Reed is another smaller WR who would be excellent here (and he played well in snow games and returns punts so Beane should like that). Most experts say this years WR class doesn’t have that alpha type receiver we have seen in most recent drafts. That’s why I’m leaning towards a bigger physical type receiver like Mingo. No smurfs.

khlax3
Bryce Ford Wheaton from WVU ran a 4.38 he is 6-4 221 lbs. I watched him play in every game at WVU and he showed a ton of promise but never put it all together (their coaching has been awful). This is a guy that could be a late round pick to eventually replace gabe next year. (Just to be clear I don’t think this is the solution I think we should also either sign a FA or draft a WR in the first 2 rounds as well.) This would be a nice wr group that is young and cheap: Diggs Davis Paris Campbell (cheap FA) shakir Jalen hyatt Bryce ford Wheaton
