phypon
I've always questioned the way he ties his shoes. Seems like he uses the thumb method rather than the double loop method. Could be slowing him down a bit. 1
Brueggs
I was thinking the same thing. Being that he never uses it, it seems like it would be a distraction. Maybe its to get into the psyche of the DBs. 1

KDIGGZ
Not only does it protect your teeth but it helps prevent concussions too. He already bit his tongue once. I can't imagine not using it

Once in high school we did a surprise punt on third down from our own end zone. It rolled about 70 yards. Then it got called back because they flagged the kid who kicked it for not having his mouthguard in.
BuffaloBillies
It has always bugged me too. Lots of guys around the league do it too. Would distract me. I do know from my glorious playing days that as the game goes on it's harder and harder to breathe with it in. Since WRs are running so much every play, probably need unobstructed air flow. Maybe it's mandatory in NFL to HAVE a mouthpiece out there, but not mandatory to actually use it?
DrDawkinstein
It worries me all the time. It's the main preventative players have against concussions. Every time I see him make a catch over the middle and about to get hit without his mouth guard in I cringe and hold my breath.

zow2
I don't care if Diggs bites his tongue off after a jarring hit. Just make the catch...which he almost always does. He obviously knows the perils of not having the mouthguard in properly.
nedboy7
I think once we fire the coaching staff next week this is one of the first thing that needs to be addressed.
ChasBB
Not sure if it was Diggs or another player, but I recall a guy actually removing mouth piece when approaching line scrimmage instead of not just using it at all - odd.
Hawaii50
I think Diggs uses it to hypnotise dbs, also Allen didn't seem to be wearing one last game either.

Imagine he only wore it correctly when it was a running play. Would be a pretty big tell what our offense was doing.

He already bit his tongue once. I can't imagine not using it There was a play in our game last week where Cousins scrambled and then took off trying to make it to the end zone. The replay showed his face up close and he clearly did NOT have any kind of mouthpiece in, and you could see him rolling his tongue inside his mouth and kind of biting on it, like an old bad habit someone would do when they are concentrating or something like that. He's lucky he didn't bite his tongue off. Michael Jordan used to do similar stuff all the time, but he didn't play football. These guys should all wear those mouth guards.
