He's a middle-of-the-pack punter as far as average punt distance - true both in Denver and in Detroit (dome) which is important 'cuz it means wind didn't faze him.

The more important stats are hard(er) to find - how many punts into the EZ vs pinned inside the 20 or inside the 10?

He's capable of the occasional 68, 69 yarder.

The occasional boomer is important but actually, directional punting and the ability to pin the opponent deep matter too - as does avoiding blocks and shanks.

He was a dual-purpose kicker in Detroit - kicked off as well as punted, so he may offer some positional flexibility which the Bills always love.

Yeah but how many shank kicks has he had.  Thats honestly the one thing I cant stand about punts.  Last two guys seemed to have those at the worst times.

Actually, if you need to get a few shanks out of your system, Jets week is the best time for it.

She probably slaughters the pig too!  I mean they live in Tennessee.

Do you think his pick up line was “Hey, are you from Nashville because you’re the only Ten I see.”

Punters don’t count.  I’m almost sure he lives in a double wide.

Was hoping we’d have news Sam Martin signed today.

He was making 2.35 in Denver and they wanted him to take a pay cut.  My guess is that he wants something close to that from the Bills and they are offering less due to cap constraints.

Though, as said earlier (on another thread?) would Martin have travelled to Buffalo without knowing we'd meet the lowest offer he'd accept?

Well how much of that money is dead money. If he had 1 million guranteed then he will still get a pay check from Denver. And if thats the case we only have to make up the difference and pay 1.35 million.
