Espn spoke about him. Todd likes pick. Had him as 3rd prospect. Can be slot outside. Sweeps. Great concentration. Makes tough unreal highlight catches.Ā

Btw love boise stateā€™s football field. Its blue.Ā

Ā

Looked fluid and good hands.Ā  Super happy with this pick!

Man is woolen ever a prototypical seattle pick. We will prolly ask in a couple years how the heck did he last till the 5th round

Did you see his highlights? He lets the WR catch it and then chases him and tackles him. All athlete now, no thanks unless turn him back to WR or make a return specialist.

What we have left pick wise:

Ā

6th round:

#180 - 1st pick in the round

#185 - 6th pick in the round

#209 - 30th pick in the round

Ā

7th round:

#231 - 10th pick in the round

Ā

Ā

If we wanted to get back into the 5th then the #180 and #209 would get us to about #164 or #165. So still about 10 picks away. That is the next trade up zone for us I think. Would leave us with one 6th and one 7th.Ā

Looks like Bills gave up 203 according to CBS for moving up so we still have 180 and 185 according to themĀ

Ā

Let's assume one of those for the punter. Feels like they stay put and see what comes to them.

Yea he is a slot guy mostly but reminds me a lot of Robert Woods in how he plays. Good blocker. Could see him starting in the slot by the end of the year due to that.

Ā

He played outside 65% of the time. We can use him in any spot. Good route runner, good YAC, good vertical speed.Ā

I think the Beaner is eyeing someone and will move up again toward the bottom of the 5th and get rid of another 6th.Ā

Don't we still have the top pick of Round 6? I called it earlier but think Carl Davis gets picked by us somewhere todayĀ

NFL network just straight up ignored the Bills pick. They showed it at the bottom of the screen then went right to talking about the Commanders pick.

Ā

aggravating.

Canā€™t watch NFL network on days 2 and 3. They donā€™t cover anything. Just promote NFL crap. I know a lot of people donā€™t like ESPN but their draft coverage is so much better.Ā

I like it. Remember last year when defenses left both their safeties deep(gave us some problems)? Having guys like this forces the defense to pick their poison. McKenzie and Shakir are going to be a problem because they will get those quick passes. Crowder and the RBs too. And just when the defense starts bringing up a safety, someone is going to get a one on one deep opportunity.

I don't get the choice. We only get NFLN. I do like "stump the truck" though. Appeals to the draft geek in me.

College is different from pros, I think slot is best for him so he gets free releases off the line like he did in a lot of his pass sets at Boise. Arms are short so pressed can hang him up a bit. Very excited for him on this team, type of player we needed

Looking at:

LB Darrian Beavers

OC Dohnovan West

TE James Mitchell

OG Marquis Hayes

CB Damarri Mathis

CB Zyon McCollum

S Tycen Anderson

I think Mathis is gone.

Ā

I think OL makes sense. West, Leticus Smith and McCollum works as well. I think they like Jalen Wydermeyer

Itā€™s where Boise used him. Doesnā€™t mean he canā€™t play outside. He just hasnā€™t done it much.Ā

Ā

He did a bit of both but he is more dynamic to me in the slot and that is where I see him future in the NFL. Not sure he has the functional strength for the outside in the pros.Ā
