I say this because obviously they still got to another SB and won it with a knucklehead like Barry Switzer who certainly was a downgrade from Johnson and there's a reason he never coached in the NFL elsewhere and/or probably wouldn't have been a PO caliber HC for that matter. But I do agree is that regardless of talent, they definitely were an unlikeable bunch but I do have to say Michael Irvin has been very positive about the Bills on tv in recent years. Aikman on the other hand I still hate watching and listening to on fox games. Regarding the current cowboys, At the end of the day Jerry Jones is still on a power trip and desperate for relevance and winning another SB before he kicks the bucket. Good point. Those Cowboys were an extraordinary collection of talent. And that's why the Bills had so much success, too. Each of those teams had three Hall of Famers, I think all but Reed was a first-ballot guy. In fact, it's much harder now than it was then to accumulate talent. That's what's kind of amazing about the Chiefs, with Mahomes, Hill, and Kelce. I'm happy every time the Cowboys lose.

It's a little much but so is Stephen A. And you know what? I hate the Cowboys just as much. Michael Irvin must have been absolutely stewing over there across from him. He was and then got control of himself.
Scott7975
True. You could also say that about Green Bay. Weak division. Chokes in the playoffs.
That's No Moon
Cowboys line was weak this year.
dpberr
Jerry Jones likes mediocre "company man" coaches he can control. I think Dak Prescott is just a newer version of Tony Romo. Good, sometimes really good, but no playoff success. There's no it factor there.

It’s a large media market and an owner who doesn’t pass up a chance to to bump his gums anytime the opportunity arises with the BS brand as America’s Team. Cowboys are as fraudulent as Tim Tebow playing tight end in the NFL. But not nearly as fraudulent as Timmy being a MLB player. And even less fraudulent as Timmy being a holier than thou child of god (when the cameras are rolling).

And with rumors swirling he may dump McCarthy after just 2 years and one playoff appearance shows how delusional he really is and not sure who would want that job either. Jerry Jones won two championships with Jimmy Johnson before running him out of town. He won the third with Barry Switzer two years later. Chicken Boo
Jerrah should have hired Marvin Lewis instead of McCarthy.
GETTOTHE50
The cowboys stink and aren’t worth talking about anymore. They won’t be in the NFC championship for a very long, long time. That was a catch tho by Dez- ***** em tho haha
Your Brown Eye
The Cowboys losing this past weekend was almost as satisfying as the Bills winning. The media and their fans are so obnoxious over this team, to see a first round exit in such a cluster-f of a fashion it was quite satisfying. He won the third with Barry Switzer two years later with the team that Johnson built" is much more accurate. As the talent that Johnson assembled aged or left, Switzer was revealed for the fraud of a coach he was. Jones has won exactly 2 wild card playoff games (2014 and 2018) with a team that didn't have Jimmy Johnson's fingerprints all over it in the 33 years he's owned the Cowboys.
