That kind of respect for the impact of the passing game would have been shocking not that long ago. Now, it's almost expected. TBH, in this particular instance I think it had less to do with "respect for the passing game" and more to do with perceiving Johnson > Dodson even vs. the run. And he has none. fooled us last year - shame on him… fooled us this year - shame on us. prior to the start of the season there was concern that counting on Star to save the day on the D-Line , was all eggs in one basket. Agreed. Particularly with Klein out, we just didn't have the personnel to counter the heavy set.
