jethro_tull
The Bills just beat the Ravens #2 defense for points against / #7 for yards against, #5 for passing TDs against and they proved their numbers. It was tough and gritty but a complete team effort. The possible remaining defenses- Team Rank points against yards against passing TDs against ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ KC 10 16 20 CLEV 21 17 25 I like the idea that the offense was battle tested in this game. They faced tough resistance. The outlook looks bright for the next one !
ProcessTruster
Still hard to imagine we get past the Chiefs, but hey they were not favored by most to get past the Ravens either. They were one near turnover from getting back into the last KC game. They will compete, that is for sure. go Bills.
TroutDog
I’ve been at the point for many weeks now where the matchups aren’t that important to me. This Bills team is on a mission and, as long as they stay on point with that, all will be well. I do appreciate the info, though!

TBBills
Josh Allen would have had 300+ yards last night and 4TDs if not for the wind floating a few passes just a tad far.
whatdrought
I think there’s only one team left in the bracket whose defense matches the Ravens, and that’s the Saints.

Fify. This doesn't get enough recognition. When a player is amazing, has a slump, and is amazing again, it's usually caused by something. This is such an obvious reason.

Just needed to stop them on 3rd and 17 I think it was and we get the ball back with about 3 minutes left only down six. But Kelce made a heck of a catch on a poorly thrown pass from Mahomes if I remember correctly. I fully expect the rematch to be a one score game. jaybee
I'm not sure whether to be concerned by our performance of the last 2 games or elated that we won them even tough we were less than perfect. Whatever the case....I'LL TAKE IT !!

Definitely annoying aspect of human nature. There were plenty of times Tom Brady and Michael Jordan claimed that no-one believed they would win when in actuality they were heavy favorites. Otherwise you get complacent. Jordan was always finding ways to push himself, I feel like Brady is the same.

At this point it's a badge of honor! And certainly he has gotten his revenge this season! It's a testament to how hard someone works to get to their goal, this didn't slow him down in the drill and also in his goals.

Would ideally like to play the Bucs in the Super Bowl.. Sweeping the Patriots in the division and beating Brady in the Super Bowl would exorcise a lot of demons for this franchise.

The most impressive part of that drill, and most memorable in my view, was his ability to quickly overcome his gaffe and recover perfectly. That says a lot about his mental makeup.

TPS
If you’re basing things solely on rankings, then the Bills D shouldn’t worry anyone either. That said, As I recall last year, KC’s D was ranked in the bottom half of the league during the season then turned it up during the playoffs. For me, the main issue going forward is that the remaining teams all have balanced Os while the Bills don’t. It’s easier to come up with a scheme to defend a one-dimensional team. Frazier has his work cut out for him...

The Ravens came closest, but were aided by winds in a big way. What makes you think that any D-coordinators will come up with a gameplan better than the top 5 defences in the league did? My point was that it's a lot easier to game plan when a team is one dimensional, so my focus was on Frazier's job going forward. Despite the Bills being one-dimensional in the "traditional" sense, we also have Josh and his running ability, so that does create an added dimension to stopping the Bills. I'd expect to see some designed runs this early in the game, much like against the Colts.
machine gun kelly
So OP, nice thread. NFL Regular Season Defenses Points Bucs 9th Chiefs 12th Packs 14th Bills 16th Yards Bucs 6th Packers 9th Bills 15th Chiefs 17th Bills Offense Points 2nd Yards 2nd Ill take these odds. The data is skewed due to earlier in the year. We’re on fire right now. LET’s GO BUFFALO!
