  1. Guessing the Taylor Swift factor is in play as well. NFL will milk that as long as they can.
  2. I don't know the answer but with a roster like this, we ought to be winning a few of these games. That poorly executed fake punt at that point in the game is a red flag on the coaching staff. I predicted a loss and really hoped to be wrong. Root for Lamar now. Wont bother me if the Lions get one either.
  3. My thoughts exactly. Everyone here blaming the refs but I wasn't on the field and don't know what transpired with eligibility reporting of the lineman. The coach went with the lower % option and I'd still call it a bad decision even if they'd made it. I'm glad Dallas won but if I'm a Lions fan right now I'm livid with that decision.
  4. Do we know for sure Sal didn't pay them $$ to ask for autographs ? !!!
  5. Just a great game. So happy to see the Eagles go down. Proud of the Browns too. In fact I'm strongly considering asking their fans if any room left on the band-wagon. A lot to like about that team.
  6. Hey gotta blame somebody right ? Remember when they all used to blame EVERY loss on Daboll ? Its fun to watch freakout central when they lose. . When they win next time everyone will say Dorsey called that game like a GENIUS !!. Just don't blame Josh. That'll get you banned by the HS forum lawyers here on Algore's amazing internet !!!! GO BILLS !!
  7. They'll be fine. It was better to have that fire lit under their a**** week 1 than just before a playoff run. Josh is still the same QB. He just had a lackluster game. Its possible the loss of Brian Daboll is taking its toll on Josh's mental game but that's just a thought on my part. Josh "being smart" and middle linebacker void/run D are issues needing fixed in my peonic mind. They were too easy to run against in that game. My biggest concern is our "window of opportunity" slowly starting to close. That huge Allen contract will (and has already) cause us to shed talent. We can't afford to fill holes of need with a contract like that sucking up cap space. So Josh needs to be fixed and play better than before to equalize overall strength of the squad. More players will dash for greener pastures as contracts expire. Cant blame them. Is Josh capable of that ? Absolutely. In the weeks ahead, and maybe even this week against Oakland, the team will play crazy good and everyone will sleep like a baby once again. Its become a tougher division but I still call 10-7 and a deep run into the playoffs. Enjoy the season everybody.
  8. I like him. I'll route for him to have his day. He's a 10x better football player than any of the whiners on this lame chat board.
  9. ..................and I would add our defense against the run isn't very good either. Just like back in the early 90's when the team was decent.
  10. Right there with ya. In addition to your point, the Bengals have a good running game which we seem to struggle with at times. Cincy's OL is banged up hard though. At the end of the day I see Buffalo as the only team left capable of playing the Eagles tough. Maybe even beating them. Its a great year.
  11. Couldn't agree more. 100% unwatchable. Over-produced commercials and high audio volume makes it even worse. The answer as has been already mentioned is to DVR the game, and join it 1 hour (1:15 for prime time) and FF thru the nonsense. The game flows this way. Its how I've watched for the last decade or so. The NFL is a highly addictive (successful) product despite the idiots that run it. When it goes to all PPV I'm out.
  12. Glad someone else said this first. I think it sucks. It turns a skill position into mass humanity fat guys pushing someone. Get rid of it. They will, I'd bet on it. This Would be a good poll question. (are there polls on this site ?)
  13. Really slingin the hot takes there bovee. No idea who Mathew Bovee is but if he's a writer, he gets paid to write even if he cant think of anything to write about. Maybe he should be a stand-up comic act. Bills players are sick but I dont what they have ?? WTF is that ??
  14. Yea man. I was just a kid but liked the Raiders back then. He was amazing with his placement of punts. I Had his football card. My brother stole my collection which had ALL the great players of the 60's and 70's. Another punter I always admired was Reggie Robie (sp?). The Dolphins punter who always knew what time it was !! (he wore a watch on game days). It was all leg with Robie as his other foot never left the ground when he launched the missile. Good times. RIP Mr Guy. Thanks for the great memories.
  15. Or OJ Simpson, Cookie Gilchrist and the Daryl Lamonica debacle. Yup, stay off my lawn too !!!
  16. It was hot in Tampa yesterday. I didn't notice this level of cramping in the GB roster. This thread is sour grapes. You have a multi-million organization, professional athletes, a medical staff and maybe they just didn't prepare the roster knowing the obvious......... weather conditions. What if the Bills had pulled it out ? What would we be saying then ? This team is superb no matter the weather ? Probably. They got beat. It happens. They're 2-1 and in a week or two this will all be forgotten.
  17. .............right after 3 and outs !!
  18. Whatever happened to T Austin? I lost track of his career but I remember him being a highly praised top receiver coming into the draft back in 13 or 14. Was he injured or did he jst kind of flame out ?
  19. Although short lived, I thought Nickel Roby was a decent UFA while he was here.
  20. Whats a seattle kraken ? Never heard of it ??
  21. What do I know but me thinx the Chiefs made out on this one. Hell, Does Miami even have a coach yet ? Looks like bad timing for Dolphins and a fantastic deal for KC. It'll be fun to watch and maybe, just maybe its that one little break we needed this year to finally get by KC.
  22. Like I said in that Shout box. We just watched the Super Bowl as far as I'm concerned. That right there was the two best teams in the NFL squaring off. It's a shame either team had to lose. I'm just glad that I saw it because it is one of the most amazing football games I have ever seen. Maybe the most amazing. Congrats to both teams as far as I'm concerned. An absolute Heartbreaker but a fantastic game. Like Romo kept saying, Whoever has the ball last will win this game.
