You don't have 6 subjects of homework a night. You don't have to move 6 times a day. We got 15 minutes in between each class to hang out before the next class starts. Most teachers didn't want to teach/lecture the entire 2 hours so they would give you time to do your homework while in class.

My son's high school schedule is also in the block format. About 1:20 per class. Beginning last year, lockers were optional; no one uses them. They all live out of their backpacks. When he was in middle school, homework took him - literally - 2-3 hours per night. It was brutal. High school has been so much better. With the long class times, most teachers let the kids work on what WOULD be homework for the last 30-40 minutes. Throw a couple study halls/week in, and a little time after school in the library ... when he gets home, he puts school behind him on most days. Last year, the only school work he did at home, really, was studying for tests.

Da webster guy
The thing that annoys me most about Bloated Bob is how all he can talk about is "greatest franchise ever, greatest qb ever, greatest coach ever blah blah" He has this strange need to validate their success by putting other dynasties down, and making it seem like nobody has ever even been close to that good before. Its part pride and he should be proud--I get that--but after awhile it comes off as insecure and pathetic. I guess it comes down to class. They've had an incredible run, but I've always felt the Pats lacked class. Guys like Edelman, Gronk, Belichick. Great at their jobs but they could use a little more Marv Levy and a little less Bob Kraft.

Kraft, inevitably got stuffed in lockers throughout his high school years. He ended up with some money and then tried to become the coolest guy in the room. However, you see how awkward it looks and realize he’s the same guy that was stuffed in lockers some 55 years earlier. The only difference is Bon Jovi is now 7 feet away from this nerd. You just summed up my feelings perfectly. Nothing wrong with having fun, but things like dancing with Cardi B and getting involved in the Meek Mill situation make Kraft look like an old man who’s trying to be hip and relevant. People of all ages are entitled to fun, but some of it seems slightly attention seeking. My thoughts are also clouded by the fact he owns the Pats.

I think that the fact that he owns the Patriots certainly plays a part (and potentially a big one). I think that hanging around Meek Mill and Cardi B feels SO INCREDIBLY FORCED that he should be clowned on for it. He’s 78 and trying so hard to “look like one of the cool kids.” People see right through that nonsense. It’s great that he’s 78 and wants to have fun. He should be enjoying time on a yacht, at a Michelin rated restaurant, traveling the world and seeking the company of a beautiful, successful woman 25 years his junior. He shouldn’t be rolling with 30 year-old wannabe actresses and rap stars. Edited August 7, 2019 by Kirby Jackson
