There were some media who thought he might get less, or nothing, because he missed a lot of time already last year when he got put on roger’s list. The Browns requested to to be told by 3/13 so they could proceed accordingly with FA. They didn’t know all along but I’m assuming they prepared for the worst. 7 minutes ago, aristocrat said: wonder if he will appeal and if that can get knocked down? Stank_Nasty
what this says to me is look for them to utilize Johnson to the best of his abilities complementing chubb up until the trade deadline in the regular season and snab a solid mid round pick off a team that's RB needy next season. 2 minutes ago, ShadyBillsFan said: We all did its picking the guy in the first place. low risk investment. great move. Mister Defense
Not sure why some react as if this is a surprise or a reason to mock the Browns--everyone was well aware that there would be a significant consequence, maybe a year suspension. 8 games is a light and expected penalty in most people's minds and not a surprise at all to the Browns I assume.
