Occasi-Cortez Channeling the Rent's too damn high guy

Is it a coincidence that if you include all of AOC's policies as she intends, it is roughly the GDP of the US economy?

It's like she created a wish-list based on a budget from a scenario where the government seized %100 of income and production. What could I buy if I controlled all of the money and nationalized every industry?

Is it a coincidence that a bartender who couldn't budget her own rent has planned a socialist economy that precisely matches the nation's GDP?

Gotta go with "yes" on this one.

Disagree.  Ocasio-Cortez is demonstrating to women that politics is open to all of them, no matter how much of an uninformed, ignorant dingbat they might be.

Your system has some protection from the Parliamentary system whereby:

The former ruling party is left with a few seats and appoints any dingbat to lead the party and then the party is back on top within two elections no matter what dingbat is in charge.

I thought her WW2 comment was an embellishment.  But no, she actually said it.

she also thinks the US should pay “reparations” like Germany did “after the Holocaust” if it wants to heal". she also suggested that math-driven algorithms are racist because they are made by humans and hyper success is bad.

If enough of these radical socialist get into power I see no hope outside of violence. And the violence I pound the table for will be significantly less violent and lethal than the consequences of socialism. I consider the economic theory of socialism and communism resolved in its failure of the 20th century which led to deaths of tens of millions.

On our current trajectory I do not see how this can be avoided with an electorate comprised of more takers than producers. More people are going to the polls looking to vote themselves other people’s money, than are people looking for the best interest of the values and ideals that made our country great. And I won’t deny our increase in diversity is directly contributing to this trend. Non-American interlopers coming into our country looking to take from the vast and depleting wealth that our free market has produced.

Now they want to kill the free market that has produced this wealth and redistribute it.

I see no no other course of action than political violence.

Do any of you see legitimate alternatives and if so what are they?

You calling for violence on the forum is like waiting to see if the sun comes out.

I lnow of no greater or more effective authority than violence. It should be a last resort, but it must not be hesitated to be employed.

Say what you will about AOC, but at least she's talking about issues. Don't get me wrong, this "green new deal" is ***** retarded and would crush the economy to the point Mexico would be building the wall to keep us out, but it's marginally preferable to jumping from rooftop to rooftop crying racism.

Probably a very unpopular opinion but I think she gets the attention she gets because media types, men and women a like, geek out over a person like this.  They can't resist the "cute" "quirky" woman" that "speaks her mind" and does cool things like "dance as if nobody's looking",  quotes gamer lingo and eats ice cream with Colbert.

If any other woman in the Democratic Party said even 50% of the stuff she says, nobody in America would care.

Agree to an extent, but AOC does a lot of rooftop yelling about racism and misogyny. See her recent tweet at The Hill accusing them of picking on "the brown girl."

She's nothing more than a dumber Obama with bigger balls.

I’m confused. Your stance is that young, physically attractive women get more attention than other folks, and you think that’s an unpopular opinion? It’s pretty much a proven fact.

Allowing a radical socialist leftist dunce like this a platform is VERY VERY dangerous.

I think it’s good to for some extremists on both sides to have representation in the House.  We already have right wing religious extremists.  Hate the ideas but diversity of ideas is good.

Doesnt make a difference to my point.  I don’t mind some extremists in Congress, sometimes they have tolerable ideas.

It’s the two parties catering to extremists that’s obnoxious.  A lot of my conservative friends are socially progressive.  I’m a liberal but fairly conservative economically.  It’s a disappointment how little the parties represent me or my friends.

It wasn't that long ago when everyone knew that Bernie Sanders was an old crank with stupid ideas that shouldn't be taken seriously.

I always thought that AOC bore a striking resemblance to SNL's Cecily Strong, and they should have her playing AOC.   But now I realize, courtesy of a Ben Shapiro observation, SNL has had AOC on for years as the Girl You Wish You Hadn't Started A Conversation With At A Party.

That they vote straight Democrat, without regard to what dipschiff won the incredibly low-turnout primary?
