Was he there?

No, none of them were. We were there probably around 10-11 am on a Tuesday in November in 2012. They had just opened the shop for the day a little before we got there I think. It was weird being I  there, looks bigger on TV.

I heard they were doing tours in Vegas where they would take you to a few of the History network TV show locations and you would usually get to meet some of the stars. My wife knew someone that did it and said Rick from the American Restoration show was one of the nicest guys you would meet. The Pawn stars guys were alright.

I wish I would have been in Vegas now, would love to see Counts Customs and Danny's collection.

I love the episode where Chumlee buys some exotic coffee for the Old Man that apparently involved being proceesed through the digestive system of a monkey.

I scoffed at this, but I was wrong.

You didn't make this shlt up

I remember that episode! It’s crazy to think it’s been on almost a decade... it really is a good show because the people like the old man made it great

The old man was ok; he was at his best when he was supported by Chumlee or Rick.  People watch the show to see what Chumlee says/does.  There were some funny scenes with Chumlee and the old man.

What I'll remember about the old man is he seemed to low-ball an offer, saying "top of the line."

Side question: is it just me or is the book lady, Rebecca, hot?

She is hot... but I must disagree and say I don’t just watch for chumlee. I actually liked the old man more... RIP

With all due respect I did get a chuckle out of this comment. "I like this story but I’m skeptical. I have a buddy who is an expert in deceased reality tv stars
and he’s gonna come in and look at this." RIP

^^^ Ouch.  77 is "Top of the line."  RIP Old Man.  He took a big chance and moved his family out to LV to make a fresh start years before the Gold and Pawn Shop.  It worked out well.

It's not just you.

I have had my eye on her for a number of years (LMAO) and did some google searching on her not that long ago, just to see who she is, etc.

She is cute, smart, and into books.  She's a home run.

Something else I have consistently noticed for years...they always show a few transitional "filler" shots basically showing shoppers in the store milling around, etc., as they set up the next segment.

There is almost always a hot chick in the background; they have to be selecting that random footage on that basis...

Next time you watch, play "spot the hottie in the background milling around in front of a counter."  You'll see one!

According to the teasers for the upcoming season, it looks like Danny is looking to sell most of his collection...I find that hard to believe...

RIP  Old Man Harrison

Smart and sexy is a really good combination.

She's very cute. Seems like a nice personality as well.

I didn't know about the old man losing a million in real estate back in the 80's. Very good to bounce back after that investing 10,000 in the pawn shop.

I enjoyed the Old Man's brutally direct and honest way he addressed Chum-lee.

"Damn't Chumlee" followed by something.

"Dammit Chumlee, don't be a dummy."

"Dammit Chumlee, put that down before you break it."

Dammit Chumlee, leave that alone."

Etc.

Super hot, was just talking about her today at work.

Sad that the Old man died but knew it couldn't be long when wasn't on the show anymore.

Rick is my favorite as I think he enjoys the history the most.

But first, I'm gonna ask my buddy Ken Ham to verify its authenticity.
