Confession time at TBD

I wanted Johnson to start over Flutie based on his performance in the previous game  even though I loved Flutie

Thought Trent Edwards was going to be the real deal

but

I actually wanted the backup QB (name escapes me) to replace Jim Kelly before he actually did

^ Todd Collins or Frank Reich?

I thought there were times Jim Kelly should have taken a week or two more to recover from injury since the team always seemed to rally around Frank Reich

I thought JP Losman had what it took to be a very good, not great, QB

I believe Chan Gailey was the best HC the team had between Marv and McDermott

On that topic Marv was tremendous at managing ego's and a good motivational one liner at times, was but was not a great Xs and Os coach

I thought we got two defensive steals in the 2010 draft with Carrington and Moats.

I bought into the Darrick Rogers (WR) pre-season hype

Butch Byrd belongs on the Wall of Fame

i was so happy that the panthers took Cam Newton, and the broncos took Von Miller, because i truly believed that Marcel Dareus loved the game more than those two, and would make the biggest impact for years to come. his positive attitude and appreciation and work ethic were going to be the thing of legends!

ps...i was also in the "i really hope Nassib is there for us at 8" club.

You are forgiven.  Go forth my child and sin no more.

I wanted JJ Watt so badly in that draft.

Oh, now, that's serious.  I applaud you for your honesty, Sir.

We're all confessing our "Bills Sins" here, Gunner.  You do you.  Don't judge.

Haha my sins are in this thread too. Can I confess here that even though I know he is an arse I quite like Doug Marrone?

yup I believed in Tyrod

even Orton had me believing a little bit lol

Except when he rolled out, trying to escape the pressure. Check me on this, but I don’t think he EVER completed a pass running to his right.

Shocked at his retirement, but was over it quickly.

I thought every QB the bills drafted since Jim Kelly was going to be the answer to our QB problems.

An issue that I am still guilty of today

There are so many!

I thought Shawn Nelson was going to be a stud TE

I wanted the Bills to draft Jimmy Claussen so badly

Wow.  With thoughts like those, I see why when they say "Don't be that guy", they mean you.  ?

Off the top of my head the only players I can think of who I thought would be great were

Trent Edwards

DaRick Rogers

Da'Rick Rogers caused a lot of commotion on BBMB.  People were engaged in such heated arguments over the guy....more than any other UDFA we've ever had.

After nearly dying with that hit in AZ, Edwards probably had his best game as a pro against the Chargers.  He went something like 23-25 with like 250 yards.

I thought after that game, he was our guy.

when he was on, he was such a sharp looking qb.  now my understanding is that he's part of a group that's using virtual reality to help teach qbs the game.

That was about 10 years ago.....10 years ago.  I'm getting a little teary eyed thinking about the days back at BBMB before it got over ran with trolls.

I was single, living in Los Angeles with a wiener dog and watching the Bills at 10:00 am .....by waking up at 9:55 am after a night of drugs and alcohol.

At the time, I was sharing a cubby at work with a die-hard Badger.

Only way I could not know who JJ Watt was, if I'd taken to working in the cafeteria.

I think I turned on Trent right after they ran a QB sneak on 3rd and short. He reached out with the ball to get the first down, and of course the defense was aware that they could just take the ball he was offering right out of his hands. Oops!

Though the drought years, I’ve bought 4 jerseys and each player was traded by the Bills. Lynch, S. Johnson, Watkins and a random Chinese ripoff Kelvin Sheppard.

So, anyone want any Bills player traded?

I met Kelvin Sheppard at the gym a few years ago.  He was really cool and I think he was happy someone recognized him.

I said good luck in Indy and he gave me one of those handshake hugs.

Donald Trump was my number 2 choice to buy the team behind Pegula.

Also, can I confess for my family. My mom isn't a huge Bills fan. Back in very 2000 she went to the bar to watch the game with some friends, just as more of a social event for her. They scored the winning field goal. The whole bar is going nuckin futs. She turns to her friend and says "Wouldn't it be funny if..." Yeah. That happened.

I applaud your honesty, but that's one serious sin

I didn't think CJ Spiller was gonna be the next Thurman Thomas, but I thought he was going to give us much more than he did
