Remind Me - Why Didn't We Make a Run at Nick Foles?

I don’t care if I change your mind or not. You can have whatever opinion you’d like. And no, I haven’t changed my mind.

Well you are flat out wrong if you watched the playoffs or this SB. Foles is a straight baller! Just admit your wrong man, it's not hard.

Remember that time Flacco had an insane run in the playoffs that one year?

This isn't a one year wonder thing first off under numerous coaching staffs. You don't become a NFC championship and SB MVP by fluke man.

I’m sold on Foles as a bridge. Tyrod is terrified to make 95 percent of those throws

Leave it to a bunch of Tyrod supporters to now suddenly become Nick Foles detractors... Foles won a superbowl, and literally put on a CLINIC of throws Tyrod Taylor couldn't make... He's better, people... NicK Foles is is much, much, much, and many times head and shoulders better that Tightwad Taylor.

After watching him play in the playoffs I'd definitely be on the Foles train...even if he is Flacco like in the regular season, his playoff performances are much like Flacco's and they would be well worth it...

what a beautiful performance.

I knew Nick Foles played basketball... I didn't know he walked around with a pair of them in his drawers... Great game Nick... And Yes, there should definitely be a QB controversy in PHILA.

Nonsense.      Wentz is a top 3 QB.     Foles is a top 30.

If Foles can play in the playoffs like he just did I don't care if we struggle to get in every year...it would be like Flacco in Baltimore.

Because Eagles are all in on Wentz.  They almost have to trade Foles to avoid distraction if Wentz hits any rough patches.

No way he gets traded before the season starts with Wentz a question mark to start the '18 season.

I dunno... Who won the ring tonight, and who's got a blown-out ACL??? -Think he makes a full recovery?... -Even if he does, what does he come back and do for the team?

Nick Foles performance tonight was nothing short of  MASTERFUL... Every single aspect of that offense responds to his participation... Carson Wentz is one hell of a young fella... But, if I'm the Eagles, -I am THINKIN!... -Real hard...

He had one off year in STL with tarded coaching staff.

People are so lost on this guy it hurts. Reid knew, but did not pull the trigger as Smith was/is actually decent.

Wentz won't be able to start next season. Why would the Eagles trade Foles unless they get a crazy offer for him?

Foles owns Philly now, no way I’d let him go after this run and this win. What a conflict, must be tough being a Eagles fan.

I posted this exact scenario but was called and idiot. It's a very, very tough decision after what we just Witnessed against the Falcons Viks and Pats.

You know that's not really accurate.

Look at his career, especially if you take out his rookie year 1-5 start.

He was masterful, truly masterful.

He made anticipation passes in tight windows in the middle of the field, he made back shoulder passes, he threw long bomb passes, perfect swing throws, spotted open receivers when blitzed.

The guy has proven that if you have the right coordinator he can thrive.   He went to a putrid Rams team and suffered, aside from that and his rookie season he's been pretty good and at time amazing.  That 2013 season was one of the most efficient seasons ever from a QB and in the post season he has been straight up money.     Eagles have a big decision to make, and the decision isn't to figure out who the starter is, Wentz is the franchise QB and rightfully so.  The question is do they trade him while his stock is high and get a really good draft choice for him.    I think once they feel comfortable where Wentz is with his recovery they trade him.  My guess is right now some team would easily give up a 2nd for him.

The thing is, Wentz may be the “future”, but you don’t know how he’s going to perform in big games yet... he could be another regular season wonder. What I do know is that you could add a ton of high draft picks to a championship team by trading him to the highest bidder.

Whose trade value is higher?  Who will cost less at the QB position over the next 3 years?

You are right, though.  This could quite possibly be the only SB victory Wentz ever gets.

I'm sure Foles won't mind the fat ring on his finger and this on his mantle.

We will see what happens with Wentz under the big stage. Some QB's as we have seen who look legit fold hardcore.

We need (Bills) to explore all avenues on FA and the draft.

52 - Foles

Playoff MVP for that matter.
