bouds
If he keeps playing the way he did the last two week there's no way he goes back on the bench. Coaches will make it work, he'll be the Nickel backer at the very least.
26CornerBlitz
I think the Bills can more easily fill WLB than safety. Maybe Tanner Vallejo will have a good game. Makes no sense to play a LB at a position where he hasn't practiced all year. They need Milano at his starting spot as a LB. Trae Elston will start at S if Poyer is out. Kelly the Dog
Matt Milano was acquired with the pick the Bills received from the Patriots as compensation for Mike Gillislee. He's really surprised me. Not even counting the two obvious big plays in last couple games. He really looks like a solid player. It's early of course but I really like this guy. wppete
I hope Humber takes Lorax's side when he comes back. Let Lorax come in for runs and rushing and keep him out of coverage. I hope this happens also. Let Alexander come In on 3rd down or rotate at end.
Brianmoorman4jesus
Ripping that ball out on that PR was a beautiful thing. This team may not be full of names people know, but they play through the whistle and do the little things to win. They also seem to be an actual team and play hard for each other and the coach. Nice to see for a change Edited October 30, 2017 by Brianmoorman4jesus

I doubt any of us watched him closely enough today to say anything other than he had a couple of big opportunities that he capitalized on Okay but he put himself in good position to make those plays and didn't notice him being beaten for a big play in the game. A fifth round rookie who has 19 tackles an int, ff and fumble recovery for a touchdown...i'd say he's doing pretty darn good
Green Lightning
He's fast and can cover. A little small but it's nice to see a Bills LB actually cover and not just chase after a completion..

Dragonborn10
Whren Humber is healthy, Lorax goes to the bench. Lorax can back-up Lawson at DE and play special teams. Both Milano and Humber, hell even my whipping boy Preston Brown are all playing better than Lorax.

Preston Brown supposedly started at SLB yesterday. I think maybe they could be moving in the direction of Lorax just being on the DE rotation on passing downs? He seems to be a good fit for this D and is playing lights out for a rookie. He's listed at 6'0 and 223 lbs. Kinda tweener between a SS and LB. But he's playing much bigger than that. We'll have to see how he is in a power run game when the OL are on him. Right now, I really like his speed and cover abilities. He's a steal for a 7th rounder. SaviorPeterman
Milano has been a MONSTER. Not sure how McD can justify taking this beast out of the starting lineup. Nothing against Humber but his play was average and no where close to what Milano is doing. And you have to trend towards the rookie with upside vs. a veteran whose mostly been a backup and ST player in his career.

bigK14094
Right. He said Humber would start once he's healthy, but that doesn't mean there won't be some platooning going on. I think Milano will be seeing some D snaps moving forward. Yes, I think they will use Milano in passing situations, as he has better coverage skills than Humber. (and has produced two big plays in two weeks in coverage)

Kelly the Dog
I watched the condensed game and just concentrated on Milano every play. He was decent to pretty good. Didn't stand out at all. Did fairly well in coverage usually. Didn't get off blocks all that well. We love the TD but it did just bounce right in his hands so that was a luck play more than skill. The strip on the KO was great. Easily his best play. He wasn't great in any way but he was decent to pretty good.

Seems like a player with good instincts and coverage ability but his size still prevents him from making a huge impact in the run game. All the stuff the scouting report told us. The ball bouncing into his hands is luck, but we should credit the coaching for our boys being so good at knocking the balls out and our players swarming to the ball. He wasn't great in any way but he was decent to pretty good. Was that a Kiko joke? YiO mentions soup and then you mention condensed. Other words could have been used like compressed. And the skill on play was by Johnson who deliberately went for the ball. Milano knows this and one shot shows him pointing to Johnson telling him 'you made the play". On this matter White needs to learn when you are the ball carrier's wingman you do not get ahead of ball carrier unless there is someone ahead of him! Rookies!
