Â Favre is a great comparison but like Favre when he came out, there is a lot of work to do to develop Mahomes into the player he could be. It took 2-3 years with Favre and that's why the 2nd round was a good fit for him. Aaron Rodgers took about the same amount of time and although he was at 24, it was essentially like a 2nd round pick to the Packers. We have so many big needs (S, CB, WR) that can and should be addressed in the first. Plus I'm not big on any of the QBs in the first round.
