Kirby Jackson
never really looked into it, just figured he'd be back If they didn't get him from the practice field to the hospital amputation was a real possibility. If I recall correctly they didn't make the determination not to amputate for a day or so.
Blokestradamus
Hopefully, some positive news on the Teddy front. https://twitter.com/camdasilva/status/846764317739569155 @camdasilva So this surfaced on Reddit today. Appears to be Teddy Bridgewater dropping back and throwing. #Vikings Edited March 28, 2017 by Blokestradamus
TheElectricCompany
Good for him! I hope he bounces back, but it sounds like his entire knee feel apart last year, it's going to be tough.
wppete
Man that really sucks. Really like Teddy. The kid does not have any luck. Hope this is not the end of his career.
Doc
So is he still expected to miss all of 2017?
4merper4mer
So is he still expected to miss all of 2017? I'm no Doc but to me his left leg looked very tenuous. I'm assuming that is the one he hurt given the brace and all. Hard not to root for a comeback from him. What a terrible injury.
Formerly Allan in MD
this generation's Theismann injury Which was ugly, having been at that game.

Jauronimo
(Cringe) You think a guy suffering a potentially career-ending injury in practice isn't "good or bad?" (Cringe) Not just that. All events are judged through the lens of "how does this effect the Bills?". Ethnic cleansing in Balkans: that's a good thing since the Bills last went to the playoffs in 1999 when Kosovo dominated the news. Conflict in Syria: mostly neutral as we've finished around .500. row_33
Wow! Didn't they say originally players who saw it puked and/or he was in jeopardy of losing the leg? Yes, loss of the leg was mentioned during the aftermath...

Rob's House
Yeah Culpepper went from 15-1 QB of the Vikings to dude who looked like a 3rd stronger in Miami when he came back. He also went from a guy who looked like he was throwing to Randy Moss to a guy who wasn't.
pkwwjd
Which was ugly, having been at that game. My friend's wife was an ER XRay nurse on duty at the hospital when Thiesman came in ... pretty cool story for her to tell. She got to help read the film. That and my friend got peed on by Jim Kelly in the high school locker room after football practice one day. Cool story, bro ...
Rob's House
(Cringe) You think a guy suffering a potentially career-ending injury in practice isn't "good or bad?" (Cringe) It's a subjective thing. For the guy with a Bridgewater jersey it's bad news. For Bradford's backup it's good news.

Big Blitz
Just another reason to not overreach on a QB at 10. 1. Can draft one in rounds 3--5. Plus next year's draft. If we aren't a playoff team we'll be picking in top 15 again...likely top 10 I have us at 7-9 at best. 2. And available guys in the league. I know....very few. But Bradford had a nice season for the Vikes---compare his stats with Carr's. Maybe a Jimmy G or Cousins hits the market. Now Bridgewater. So when we do get good QB play (I'm not going to say franchise QB) you want as much talent on the team as possible when it happens.
