Sadly enough many- and I by that I mean the majority- of high school students believe pot is not bad for your lungs. I have no moral qualms with smoking it but I am sick of hearing pot never killed anyone. It is smoke into your lungs therefore it is bad, maybe not as bad as cigarettes but still bad.

the thing is, that before big tobacco came along and injected all kinds of chemicals into tobacco, there is a good amount of antidotal evidence that it can actually be beneficial for you.

Also have to blame big education and big asthma sufferers for scaring people away from medicinal tobacco. We all remember that big doctors were okay with smoking.

@Bob in Mich was this you? Couldn't help but notice the shirt and the dude is in Michigan. Obviously weed is prophylactic therapy for Covid - why else would this #Cult45 member be spitting on those cops?

Getting a lot of mileage out of this?  Methinks it's time to return to work.

Didn’t this guy come out and discuss this and he admitted to being a Bernie Bro but voted from Trump in the general election  because Hillary was so bad?

A smart protestor would have brought a drum to beat next to that officer's face. The media would have declared him a hero against the racist cops.

He could have an "I'm With Her" sign in the front yard for all I care - he's a moron and definitely forgot to medicate.

This just goes to show the ignorants surrounding this subject for decades that starts directly at the gov't level and if you notice the biggest statement in the entire video is that because Marijuana is a natural herb it cannot be patented ---- BINGO !

Opioids are a schedule 2 and it alters peoples life every day for the worse not the better, Alcohol causes a ton of injury to the body and mind but the thing is they make Billions of dollars off of them ! Until the gov't can make their share which will be bigger than every body else it will stay illegal as a schedule 1 drug !

The U.S. gov't has had a patent on marijuana for years if you watch the documentary's by Sanjay Gupta Weed - 1- 2 and so on he tells this in the first documentary and shows amazing health benefits from it in real time with people that suffer from life altering disease  .

And in Colo. the dispensaries cannot put profit from sales of marijuana in a FDIC bank but they can sure run down to the county building and pay them cash from the sale of pot . Can you say Hypocrite ?

Friends of mine have told me that if it was legal they would try it but because it's not they drink alcohol because it is legal !

Besides the gov't keeping it illegal other monies coming in to keep it illegal IMHO come from Big Pharma, Any company that sells alcoholic beverages because if it does become legal their profit margins just dropped by a third and more people will be growing it rather than going to the pharmacist for a pill that they can profit from .

Thanks for the video good stuff it takes the blind fold off some of the truths surrounding the stupidity of keeping Marijuana illegal !! Very informative Thanks !!

People. Hogs can eat a person that falls into their pen and is unconscious.  Probably can do it in record time if they have the munchies.

where I live it's so cheap and easy at the store there is no reason to go black market.  Store prices are now lower than black market was  pre legalization.

I take it you don't live in a high tax state like CA?

As proven time and time again, any and EVERY time a state has implemented Drug Testing in order to get Gov Assistance... NO, there is no real correlation between poor people and drugs. If anything, it's rich people doing all the drugs since they are the ones that can afford them.

I don't live in CA but I do live in high tax WA.

I can buy 1 gram for $5.  That is $140 per ounce.  On the black market pre legalization I could buy a quarter ounce of $50.

Do the math. $35 vs $50. Which would you choose?

I have also made purchases in CA and OR and the prices were about the same. Did not do an exhaustive search and it was a couple of years ago.

I suspect most law abiding citizens would rather deal with a legal legitimate business than with criminals.  I know I do.

True, black market will not go away. But how many people still buy black market booze?

Sure see a lot of homeless people that are drug addicts. And what I’m saying is drug addiction often leads to loss of jobs and income.

Rich people doing ALL the drugs??  Ha. Good one.

40-45 years ago it was $40 an ounce.  What caused it to be so expensive now? Paying off politicians? I read that  Oregpn passed a referendum decriminalizing heroin, etc.  If Oregon is a sh*thole now, just wait.

Haha, obviously not all of them. Just most of the good stuff.

For sure, addiction (mostly alcohol) plays into homelessness like many other mental illnesses. But I'm not talking only the homeless.

I'm talking the general poor, lower working class. They arent struggling because they are wasting their money on drugs.

What type of question is this? "Why is something more expensive than it was 45 years ago in 1975?" 🤣

Average college tuition back then was about $8k, today it's $25k.

You could buy a nice house for $20-25k, that today would go for $250k

A gallon of milk was $1.50, today it's $3.50

Here's an article on Inflation if you want to read more. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inflation

Additionally, the weed people are getting today is no where near the Mexico dirt shwag that was around in 1975.

Another "quality" web site pushing drugs. Post something when you have an JAMA article on pot curing something.

I know that pot can cause paralysis. A friend's sister-in-law  became paralyzed when her boyfriend  was so stoned that he forgot he was driving and caused an accident that caused her to be completely paralyzed when she was a teen.
