Jason LaCanfora & Michael Lombardi on 'NFL Total Access' at approximately 7:15 tonight:

JL: "Mike, I think we both agree, and others around the league when you talk to other teams who were in this thing that they're more or less conceding...not quite waving the white flag but a lot of people would be surprised if he leaves Buffalo without an introductory press conference and without a beaucoup amount of guaranteed money in his pocket. They're prepared to make him one of the highest paid players ever at his position...they have a ton of cap space. For him to make the first visit there, all signs are they're going to be able to get this done. And, if for any reason it falls apart, the Chicagos, the Jacksonvilles of the world will be right there to catch him with a pretty good money-filled parachute of their own...but, boy, I don't see him leaving Western New York without a contract."

ML: "Yeah, once Buffalo moved all of the chips to the middle of the table, they were gonna get him. Obviously, Chicago wanted to be involved but it got too rich for Chicago...when they pulled out, then he got on the airplane and typically when this happens...when you get on that airplane and you're gonna make this trip, you're going up there to see the weather, to see the scenery...but you're also going up there to collect your money and I think that's what ultimately what has happened here. As Jason said, barring any unforeseen problems, I expect Mario Williams to be a Buffalo Bill by the end of the day tomorrow."

Hopefully the bills are smart enough to make the offers before dinner....that way if the dont sign...they dont eat...

Like the Arena League owner who fired his whole team at the pre-game dinner because they were going to go on strike right after the Star Spangled Banner was sung at their game that evening.

East Coast Sports News is a pretty legit site....if someone is upset about Meachem's name mispelled, than you don't read many articles written about players!

Example: Fitzpatrick being called Fitzgerald

Edit: I've been following ECSN since 2000, pretty accurate mock drafts and insightful commentary on college players and pro players in general.

If they have quality mock drafts and commentary, that's great. That doesn't mean there is any indication that the site has some inside edge for scoops.

. . . The Bills and Texans DE Mario Williams have reportedly agreed to a contract in principle which will make Williams the highest defensive player in the league, but the deal has yet to be finalized. . . .

I believe the part about highest paid defensive player
