  1. Time for a positive thread That was the closest to 2021 playoffs i’ve seen Josh Allen since Daboll left. Great decision making (outside of one throw), used his legs a ton, was throwing on the run with accuracy… he just looked fantastic. He was Josh Allening more than i’ve seen him Josh Allen all season. Or last season. Gives me hope for the future. And against 2 straight great defenses.
  2. After a few days here, I got to thinking. What would happen if the coaches stayed where they are, but Allen and Mahomes switched teams? Or the opposite, the rosters stayed the same, but Reid and McDermott switched places? Which team would be better off? I guess the real question here is: Is what Reid does with the KC offense (creating decisions for the defense that gets players like Kelsey open in tough situations, or getting big runs when needed...) something that is tailored just to Mahomes and his skill set? Or would Allen be just as successful in that offense? Would Mahomes be just as dynamic in Brady's offense here? I guess my real frustration comes from watching teams like the Chiefs get players open in space, when we appear to have so much trouble getting that open space? Is it scheme (from the coaches calling plays), or is it talent (running the plays called)?
  3. Beane gets a pass for one reason: Josh Allen. It was a brilliant move. With the Josh Allen move included he is an above average GM. Remove the Josh Allen move, and he is a fairly average GM.
  4. I'd love to know who the high talent big body guys they've put on this team with Josh Allen we have to make this assessment that he doesn't do well with them are. From my memory Josh Allen does well with short shifty WRs because Josh Allen has short shifty WRs.
  5. No it doesn't. Beane's best overall draft class was the Josh Allen pick. Period, end of story. Josh Allen is worth more to the team than every one of Beane's picks from the 2024 draft. That said, I could definitely see Beane's 2024 draft working out well.
  6. It's ultimately Josh Allen's decision. LA and SF beckon.
  7. You were also the guy telling everyone last year, Josh Allen was heading towards Ryan Tannehill territory.
  8. Most hurdles by player: Josh Allen or Keon Coleman?
  9. I didn't see Williams do very much that was designed. He was however a complete freak off schedule. To me he is a poor mans Josh Allen. Does not have all the athletic skill Allen has but a talented kid. Will he be able to reinvent himself to be more structured? Josh was able to do it enough.
  10. everyone tries to make a Josh Allen comp for a raw prospect. But no one has done what Allen did.
  11. Yep. And Josh Allen and company is brokering the deal.
  12. We have Josh Allen. He alone dictates how opponents must play us. Just keep pace in the game.
  13. I'm not sure that Josh Allen is the best QB in the league, but there not much doubt about him being better than Tua. The old saying is, "The best ability is availability." Between the two of them, Josh Allen is an iron man and Tua is likely one more concussion away from the end of his career.
  14. I gotta say I hate it. I love Josh he’s an amazing QB that does not need to do this, it’s embarrassing. I was talking to my buddy who is an Eagles fan about this about 4 or 5 weeks ago. I hate it in hockey and in soccer, it’s the most embarrassing thing a great player can do. Once again Josh is GREAT, he’s gotta stop flopping when he’s hit, it’s a terrible look. Specially when he’s out there trucking guys and stiff arming when he’s running. He can’t fall like he was shot and flail on the ground looking for a call when he’s touched in the backfield.
  15. In all fairness I wanted Josh Rosen instead of Josh Allen….. hopefully this turns out the same way for us
  16. Looks like a 9 maybe 10 win roster - mostly due to Josh Allen.
  17. Other - Josh Allen Guy does everything for this franchise, way underpaid.
  18. If this team can only muster 8-9 wins with Josh Allen at QB then this HC/GM aren’t it. No excuse
  19. All the same nonsense we heard when Josh Allen was drafted…
  20. Imo Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes is not the problem. It's the coaches and gm
  21. Josh Allen is the OL Josh Allen is everything
