Mahomes tore his ACL

I hope he just hyper extended it and they just shut him down for the season they are eliminated anyway. I never like to see a player get hurt let along someone so dynamic like Mahomes.

Hate to see this.  It certainly looks like a significant knee injury, hate to see it happen to the greats.

I hate to see that for anyone. Mahomes still has lots of football ahead of him. Even if it's 9 months before he can play, that's mid September.

My dislike for the Chiefs far exceeds anything I feel for Mahomes.

Really I feel the complete opposite. Mahomes is a whiny crybaby. Brady at least was a ***** boss. Can’t stand Mahomes or his stupid family. Same for Reid and Kelce. The city and fans are the cool ones.

Seems to me like it has the ability to be a minor season ending in their current position, versus not back till some time next season.

 

Possibly like he could come back if needed for the playoffs, which they don’t.

yea, I might not be as vocal on it but I think some of the chiefs class act narrative is media construction and not reality.

The problem with Mahomes is that he fakes “injuries” all the time then comes back fine.   This however looked really bad, and unless his State Farm acting coach is incredible, he really looked in pain.

I lost all respect for Mahomes after he had that cry baby meltdown a few years ago and blamed the reffing and couldn’t even congratulate Josh on the win.

Terrible to see honestly.  Mahomes/Chiefs is the measuring stick.   Buffalo has to win it.  This team with Benford and Oliver makes the defense alot better.

TBH the better outcome is Mahomes NOT injured in the loss, Chiefs eliminated and spoilering games for the rest of the year. Having it happen does the AFC no favors, even if you're an injury-rooting ghoul (excepting a few dirty SOBs that have it coming).

Yeah, now they can basically tank the last 3 for draft position. That wouldn't have happened with Mahomes.
