Forest at Safety has potential. Should be ready to bang!!!!! If we are relying on rookies to be difference makers, then we are already cooked. 1 1 Quote

TB - Jets win Miami - Jets win. so 3-1. I don’t know how you see it that way. TB is a good team. Pitt was a playoff team with Justin Fields and Wilson (and they’ll be adding Rodgers) And Miami is 3-1 against the Jets the last two years (with their only win coming in a Week 18 matchup where Tua didnt play) Quote
Process Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Decent matchups but don't really get Dal Det and KC all playing both Xmas and Thanksgiving? 1 Quote

They will be 0-4 or 1-3 at best 1 Quote

Technically, they are allowed back in the building for a ramp up period 2 weeks prior to their suspension ending so they will effectively have 3 weeks of ramp up before they are able to play. Which is probably the best case scenario to get them up to speed. I know it's not team practice, but they are allowed to participate in team meetings, individual drills and exercises. You act as if we've lost a ton since last season and are starting Rookies across the board to replace big time contributors. The reality is we're relying on Bosa (as well as Hoecht and Ogunjobi after Week 6) and Rookies to provide more than Von Miller, Rasul Douglas, Dawuane Smoot, Austin Johnson, Quinton Jefferson, and Jordan Phillips. That's who we lost and that's who they're replacing. Considering the performance of those players last season, that's not a big ask and the talent level is much higher with the replacements. Ethan in Cleveland Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Does anyone know how they decide the 17th game? We got the Eagles this year. Do they match by how you finish in the division like they do with the other AFC teams? 28 minutes ago, BillsDiehard said: Bye could be a little later. At Miami in early Nov is far better than Sept! Would have liked Cin earlier. Don't like 4 road games in 5 weeks. And two tough physical games to finish the year. Hopefully Bills have it wrapped up and are not playing the starters week 17. Have a really good chance to be 7-0 before KC comes to town. 1 Quote

It is against an outer conference opponent(NFC) from a division that we played two years ago. In this case the NFC East. Edited 5 hours ago by Mark Vader 1 Quote

Bosa replaces Miller. That should hopefully be an upgrade. Depends a lot on Bosa’s health. I kind of think he might be on a snap count to save him for later in the season. Hoecht is in the same tier of player as Toohill and Smoot. Probably a slightly better pass rusher than those guys. Not a huge difference maker, but a nice rotational piece. Ogunjobi is just a rotational depth DT. He’s paid the same as Epenesa. Steelers fans say he’s very inconsistent. Hairston/Dane Jackson/Tre White might be better or might be worse than Rasul Douglas (and he was pretty bad last season). That’s a big question mark. Rookies don’t usually step in at boundary CB and light the world on fire, and usually when they do they are top-10 picks. We are crossing our fingers that Forrest or Bishop can step up at safety. Basically hoping players that have never played a certain role can step into that role and excel. The Bills defense might be good, and it has changed some, but it’s a huge question mark to me. There is a good chance it’s not any better than last year. Our UFAs were rotational guys (out of necessity due to cap), and most rookie defenders don’t really contribute much. How sure was everybody that Bishop would step into a starter role day 1 last year? Never happened. Basham never got there. Elam never got there. 1 Quote
