Nitro Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Brady and Babich got it together in the second half. Over all some head scratching decisions. Allen 9 for 30. Blitzing is killing both sides of the ball. Quote
nedboy7 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 With 3 timeouts it still would have been safer to try to get a 1st down running. 3 2 Quote

ALG1130 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I don't know what to say, and I don't know what this team is. Are they trash? Are they sort of good? Are they better than what they have shown? They came back and made a game of it, so it gives me SOME hope, but the coaching and play calling has been bad, really bad. The "weapons" on offense are bad. Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I am a big McD defender. But that last sequence on O was on coaching. We had to get a first down there. Why not run your offense? Draw; hand-off; quick out. Just needed 10 yards. 1 Quote
HansLanda Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 that qualifies as a total team loss - including coaching decisions Quote
White Linen Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I can't think of a worse way to handle the end that game. Unfortunately I say that a lot with this HC. Will Terry find the stones to get away from this guy that is good but doesn't have it? 1 Quote

McDermott just disrespected the whole team and the effort they made by not just kneeling there. That, to me, is a fireable offense. That is terrible, terrible coaching. Expand 10%? How about 1%. What were they thinking? So today McD doesn't challenge the Kincaid catch along the sideline and then whatever the hell that was at the end of the game. buffblue Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 (edited) Complain all you want about the end of game, but had the Bills gone run run run punt the result would've been the same. With Houston having all 3 timeouts and us pinned at the 4, we HAD to get a first down just to ensure overtime. There are PLENTY of things to complain about here, but the end of game is not one of them. Edited October 6, 2024 by buffblue 1 2 2 Quote
