Yes it would. This draft is better than next year, so trades aren't happening.

Bo Nix to Denver. Looks like it's gonna be a trade down to Washington coming up for one of the Tackles that will be still available at 28 because of this and I'll allow it.

Welp. I said all draft season Denver would pass on QB round 1. Also said Nix would be slipping to round 2. I'll eat crow on that. 

 

However, Nix is a good fit for the Payton offense.

Now I’m wondering if we go defense at 28. We might be able to get one of the top 2-3 DE, CB, or LBers (which is very unusual for that draft spot).
