A regulation win is needed here. The Isles play Ottawa at home Saturday afternoon and they "probably" will win that one. Like I said I was checked out of hockey in general. Now Buffalo Bills football though... 🙂 I scraped the very barrel for info back in the day when we didn't have any social media as such. We pobrecitas would be clutched next to our TV in hopes for a Bills update of ANY kind. Scoured the news papers etc I'm old and old school and TRYING to keep up with high tech as it is now. When you are playing a team you are chasing in the standings at this time of year, they are basically 4 point games. Red Wings moved into the final wildcard spot with this win, and now sit 5pts ahead of the Sabres with 1 less game played. The Kraken have lost to every other franchise in the league except for Buffalo. This is basically 1970s Dolphins vs Bills or 2000-2020 Patriots vs Bills. I haven't looked at the betting line but the Sabres have got to be the biggest underdogs since Rocky vs Apollo or USA vs the Soviet Team in 1980. They play in Rick Tocchet's likeness and grind the other team to a pulp. They had 83 points last season and are like the best team in the NHL this year. We have a very soft team and too many players with exactly the same makeup. Need greater diversity on the roster and more grit. A rock solid starting goalie would help a lot too, though 6k has been pretty solid this year.
