But remember Von last year didn't decide until the signing period. He held out during the official tampering period. If guys have multiple teams in play they often do that. It might be that Jordan's market isn't where he hoped. It might be he is still playing 2 or 3 suitors against each other. We will know in 48 hours or so. Of course, but wife tweets 48 hours before UFA started We havent left yet. After all season and offseason about tweeting about leaving. Now Safeties signing all over to include to teams he was "linked" too. and then the rumors on the twitter market is really soft compared to what he thought it would be. I mean this rumour mill is worse than the one that goes round in the 12 hours before day 1 of the draft. Until someone bona fide tweets that the market is soft I still expect him to be gone.

Unfortunately she also tweeted what amounts to a goodbye today too. Hopeful his market didn’t materialize and we get him back on a reasonable deal, but I think it’s doubtful. She seems to have made it clear she wants him playing (aka them living) somewhere warm.

Yeah, googled - he's the "owner". I think Ryan Talbot is related to him - not brothers but cousins or something. So it's not necessarily independent confirmation, but like @boyst says, Damond is good at building relationships with the small school guys and maintaining them, and David (hard to believe it now) was a small-school guy. TheyCallMeAndy
He’s honestly a pretty significant downgrade at his age. Gave up 55 completions last year (75% and 6.8 ypa). Also had a missed tackle rate of 6.8% (9 missed tackles). He’s just a name at this point. There are better, younger options available. But their contracts didn't line up that way. And at their ages I don't really want either extended. So Poyer walks this year, Micah walks next. I'd consider both for the wall down the line.
