I can't believe how many good receivers we have all of a sudden.

And Hyde - if somehow he gets back at ANY point in the playoffs, our title chances increase significantly.

Depends as well how well he can get back into playing shape.  If he does play you can bet the other team will test him to see if they can exploit his being rusty.

I recall Crowder really running good routes and making some key catches (in addition to being really solid as a PR).  But maybe I am dreaming, because I would have assumed that his production was more than 6/60 yards.  😁

He had limited total production but it feels like every catch he made was a big 3rd down conversion. This offense has missed 2020 Cole Beasley, so much so that we signed 2022 Cole Beasley just to get some of that skill set back. Crowder was filling that role before breaking his ankle. Not a game changer but a drive changer.

Yeah I would have thought he'd have had more than that to.  Someone just posted his snap counts, so the one game he played quite a bit was the Miami game.  Was one of there other WR's out that game, maybe that was why snap count jumped up??  Davis maybe??   Do agree, he did do a decent job on PR.

According to lineups.com Crowder played 18 snaps(31%], 19(28%, 45(49%}, and 11(17%}

11 different guys caught passes that day (Gabe ahd a few) so it looks like all hands were on deck.

I'm guessing guys were dropping like flies in the 2nd half and he was relatively fresh and got extra snaps.

This guy was the Jets offense

I still believe that if he could stay healthy, he would’ve become a good player for us over the course of the season

dr's originally said it would take 6-9 months  to recover. he had his surgery in early october.

the super bowl would be 4 months.

in his presser he said initially he was in a very dark place, now he's in a great spot after working extremely hard at rehab and attending all the bills meetings. said he and the doctor, at his most recent visit, were laughing at each other, because each knew what the other wanted. micah's definition of healed could mean pain free movement.

his reward, permission to participate in NON-contact practice to keep his spirits up.

my fear is the doctor is allowing a bit of false hope and has no intention of releasing him for game contact tackling  head/neck  trauma before being fully healed for the 6-9 months.  allowing him to get a jump on being ready for next season. this is a neck/spinal cord injury that probably shouldn't be rushed back.

i'll be shocked if he plays this playoffs.....heck knows we sure could use him

He's off IR. That means the 21 day window is ticking. What happens if they don't activate him.  Does he then have to stay on IR for all of next season? Or just that 21 day clock runs out during this year's playoffs?

None of the injury statuses carry over from season to season. If they advance to the SB but don’t activate Hyde by Feb. 1st, he goes back on IR for the remaining 11 days of the season thru the SB on Feb. 12th.

Being medically cleared to return to practice and actually being in game shape and ready to play in a game are two very different things.  Look at how many weeks Tre was practicing before actually returning.

Tre was coming off a torn ACL.  Different injuries.  Different rehab processes/timelines (both mentally and physically).  We'll see if Hyde returns but I wouldn't compare the two injuries unless you're a medical expert.

There is ZERO reason to start him on the 21 day journey to IR unless he was very close

this is the NFL… NOT FOR LONG … Don’t ever get it twisted…. Young men have given up the entirety of their youthful life trying to make a shot at this

The bills would not get him on the 21 day journey… Unless he was extremely close

I agree… Now I don’t know what kind of physical shape Hyde is in

But it is a completely different injury that a cornerback rehabbing from an ACL tear

at the end of 21 days, or anytime before that.....they have 2 choices, put him back on IR for good or put him on the 53 man roster (cutting someone else to make room). putting him back on IR this season does not effect next season.
