He did not, but then he DNP two days last week before practicing and playing in the game

Scored more points?

Three of their losses were really close games which they lost by 8 points total - Steelers, Cowboys, Ravens.

Those were all "early in the season" and "they've grown, they're a better football team" now.

The Browns really thumped them in Week 8 winning 32 to 13, and the game wasn't as close as the score makes it appear

Yeah I watched it.

Golden Boy couldn’t do anything against the Browns D.

Even the miracle that is Tee Higgins barely salvaged a night with a garbage time TD on an under thrown deep ball.

“We weren’t complaining about that then we’re we”

Bills and Chiefs lost Week 3 and Bengals lost Weeks 1-2 so all that went out the window.

Your dig at me doesn't even get off the ground.

Listening to Ross Tucker ramble about how good the Bengals are and how superior their skill players are.

And Schopp just lapping up the spilled milk on the ground.

Win on Monday and this BS will continue by guys like Skip Bayless and others, but we’ve got better wins than anyone in the AFC bar none.

I really don't get this crying about the media with regards to the Bills. It's like some of you take it personally or feel like playing the victim role. Very strange take on How so many here feel disrespected by the media. It's ok to disagree with their opinions and takes. Who knows the agenda behind many in the media? Being boring off the status quo usually isn't the way many in the media operate. Just go see good ole Jerry S for an example.

If that’s the gist of your post, maybe think twice about posting prior to taking a course on thought composition, because that post doesn’t say that in the least.  Reread your post.  You’re crying about nothing man.

Paragraph 1: wah, media says burrow is as good as Allen and Mahomes.  He’s very accurate and a great decision maker.  His stats are good but he throws to 3 great WRs.

paragraph 2 and 3-  burrows doesn’t make the plays that make you go wow like Mahomes.  Wah.

paragraph 4:  the bills dl

How on earth could:   “The gist of my post was to point out how the media is in love with Burrow without any in depth analysis of the factors behind his success..only using Mahommes and Allen as examples, and not a love letter”

you said nothing of the sort-  maybe you should think twice about questioning one’s reading comprehension until you learn how to compose your thoughts in writing and not just in your head.

This is how the media had been portraying the bills until the first jets game…. Only it was everyone, not just some of the media.  And everyone was picking them to win the SB.  Everyone.

We weren’t complaining about that were we?

Okay..lets try again..and this time I wont use such big words and make it simple for you...

You were spring loaded into making a post jumping on someone using cutesy words like "karen-y" all while not understanding or caring what you are reading...just to try to make a point.

In my original post, I was remarking how the media was fawning over Burrow,  and in subsequent paragraphs showed how his talent level doesnt rise to the level of MAHOMMES or Allen..you are disputing this, or is your visual acuity as poor as your reading comprehension??

This was never a love letter about Allen..which is obvious, but you cant see that...grow up and practice reading before you post..(wah)

Perception and the way that the media chooses to spin narratives are such interesting things.

The perception of this game seems to be that the Bengals are riding a big wave of momentum, having won 7 straight, being called by many "the hottest team in football", and boasting one of the best -- if not THE best -- collections of offensive weapons in the league.

Meanwhile, the Bills are riding a 6 game winning streak of their own. Devin Singletary has more rushing yards than Joe Mixon on 29 less carries, and the Bills top three pass-catchers have 13 less catches for 67 less yards and 2 MORE touchdowns than the Bengals top three pass catchers. Yet the Bills are considered to have a very lacking collection of offensive weapons.

Perception. Narratives. Strange.

Thank you! That's what has been driving me crazy.

The Bengals are legit, but we have more wins against a tougher resume.

Let the media declare bengals winner before hand- i love being under estimated!

I mean there is a legitimate path for the Bengals to win. They are at home as well. I've seen some picking the Bills as well. Imho, I could careless who they media is picking. It's meaningless.

IMO this game, like most any NFL contest will be decided by these 3 things with 3 being as important as anything else

1. Who commits the most turnovers

2. Who commits the most "called" penalties* OR is the recipient of any gift calls. Lord I hope it isn't THIS that turns the game

3. Which side will dominate in the trenches both offensively and defensively

a 4th could be the play of special teams both in our favor and they against us.

DOMINATE  on 3

1..2...3...GO BILLS

#1 who scores the most points lol

Two things that are making me confident

The bills are finding their running game again like they did last year towards the end of the season

And

Josh Allen in prime time Josh Allen goes god mode in prime time

Well sure, and I made the same quip in answer to a question “how have any teams beaten them?”

But @muppy’s key points (turnovers, key penalties, being physically dominant in the trenches) usually do have a strong influence on that “most points” thing

No, it didn’t.  We were still the #1 team on everyone’s power rankings, loss or not.  No one thought anything of the loss to Miami.  Meanwhile the eagles were undefeated for another couple months.  How soon we forget.

it wasn’t really a “dig”.  So defensive.
